You've got gear that hums, rumbles, and powers the comforts of camp. This rustproof box secures it. Mount it to your Stromberg Carlson trailer tray, lock it down, and keep your generator or propane tanks safe from weather and theft.
Before the coffee brews, before the lights flick on, your setup depends on that generator. Keeping it protected isn't a gamble you want to take. This aluminum storage box gives it a home.
Built to pair with the Stromberg Carlson trailer tray (CC255, sold separately), this box stashes away your generator or a couple of 30-lb propane tanks for your next trip. Welded tie-down rings keep gear secure, even on bumpy roads. The gas structs hold the lid up while you load in. And once you're ready to roll, the gasket seal and locking latch keep rain, hands, and grabby hands out.

Today we're gonna take a look at the Stromberg Carlson Gen Secure II for your CC-225 platform. Now you will need to already have this platform, and if you wanna upgrade it to give you an extra measure of security, this is gonna be your route. So let's take a closer look at it and see what's special about it. What stands out to me, especially out in the bright sun, is the diamond plate. You can see it has a polished finish and that's gonna give you a nice reflective look, and you're gonna have this rubberized handle that latches down here. You also have a loop, so you can add a padlock for additional security.
On the inside, you're gonna have dual pistons on both sides that are gonna assist you in lifting the lid and keeping your generator secure. Stromberg Carlson did a great job of designing this in a way that keeps the moisture out. If you notice there's a lip on the top right here and that'll allow the water to drain to the exterior, and also if you're using this for your propane, it has holes on the inside to allow the propane fumes to vent out so it won't collect all on the inside of your container. As far as your generator, on the inside, you definitely wanna use your tie down loops to keep it secure as you go down the road 'cause it could shift about, and the thing that's super cool about it is the fact that it has an aluminum construction, so that's gonna allow you to add additional storage on top of your negative space where your propane tanks are without adding a lot of additional weight. And honestly, I think it'd be cool if you show us your camper.

Ratings & Reviews
Good quality product. Honda eu3000 fits perfectly. Would recommend a helper for install but not required. Great addition to any travel trailer looking for a bit more storage. Tow vehicle is equipped with a cab height canopy, no interference with rear hatch.
Very impressed with the engineering, the instructions and the hardware. The material is robust. This product exceeds my expectations and is worth the extra cost. I am also very happy that Stromberg Carlson developed the larger box to accommodate a generator that would tun my air conditioning.
