It is designed to fit the 2019 and newer Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks. And on a custom-fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year, model, vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application.
Now, removing or replacing your tailgate will usually mean that you're giving up the backup camera you've come to rely on, but this kit here is gonna solve that problem. This is gonna let you keep the factory-style backup visuals with this replacement camera, and it'll plug right into your truck's original camera harness. It will include everything laid out here on the table, the replacement backup camera right here, and it's already mounted on this license plate mounting bracket. It does come with an optional surface-mounting bracket if you wanna mount it somewhere else. And then the 16-foot-long video cable, that'll hook right up to your factory harness.
So there's no splicing. There's no extra adapters. And your view will stay on the factory screen just like before. The camera's designed to mount behind your license plate using this included mounting bracket and using your truck's existing hardware, so you get a nice clean look with minimal work.
