Hi everybody. My name is Andy with the trailer.com And today we're taking a look at the Water Dragon Underwater Blue LED Light. If you are looking to add some LED lights to your boat, or maybe replace those lights, this might be a good light for you to consider. Let's take a closer look at this light. Now, as you can see this does have six diodes. And they are energy-efficient, and they're gonna be in long-lasting and vibration resistant.

Let me give you a demonstration of what this looks like. Again, these are gonna give you a nice blue light and I have my studio lights on right now. So you can already see how bright these diodes are. Now I wanna go ahead and turn my lights off and just kind of give you an idea of what it looks like in the dark. And let me zoom out here a little bit, and you could almost see me with the light reflecting off of the white surface here on my table.

Let me go up here on my wall. And again, it's just really a nice blue light. This is gonna look great under water, and give you just a nice glow underwater. So again, these LEDs are very efficient. They're gonna be long-lasting.

They're gonna be vibration resistant. Got my lights back on here, and you can still see just how bright it is. Now, what we see here, And let me get a close up again, is that these six LEDs are housed in this waterproof housing, and it has a clear impact-resistant lens unit. So those blue diodes are gonna be nice and sealed in here, watertight. You're not gonna have to worry about any problems while these are underwater.

The circuit board inside is military-grade construction. So again, that just adds to the durability of this light. And it's gonna last you a good long time. The urethane potting is gonna offer better protection than common epoxy potting, in controlling the heat transfer inside the light. Speaking of heat, there is thermal protection safeguards against overheating. And right now I've got the cover off, but the actual housing is die-cast aluminum. So, it's gonna be nice and lightweight. It's gonna be very durable, resistant to corrosion, but then the included cover is stainless steel. And more specifically, it's 316 stainless steel. So what that means for you is this, it's gonna be more resistant to pitting into corrosion. And plus it's a very attractive cover for this light. Now, this is compatible with 12V and 24V DC systems. As you can see, this is a surface mount. It is important to note that this does not come with installation hardware. So you'll just have to source locally the installation hardware, for this light, to your boat. And again, this is a hardwire installation. The blue wire will be your power, and the black wire will be your ground. And again, that's a two-wire installation. Now, let me give you some measurements here. And let's begin by looking at the overall length of the light. The overall length is gonna be sitting right at about 4 3/4 inches long, and then the overall width of the light. And it does flare out, ever so slightly, there in the middle. So, let me take that into account there. The overall width, we're gonna be sitting right at about 1 3/4 wide, and then the thickness, bring that down just a little bit lower, so you can see it sitting right at about 5/8 of an inch, in the overall thickness there. And another important measurement that I'd like to provide for you, is the distance between the mounting holes. And we are sitting right at, let's say about 3 3/4. I can line that up a little bit better for you, about 3 3/4 inches, on those mounting holes, 3 3/4. Again, this is 2,700 Lumens. The input voltage is gonna 9V to 30V. The power draw's going to be 1.13 to 1.38 amps. And then the included wire length, which I have bundled up here, is gonna be 36 inches. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty.
