Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made Storm Gard Inflatable Boat Fender. Now like most fenders, this is designed to protect the exterior of your boat from any sort of damage due to contact made with say the dock or another boat while you're out on the water. As you can see, it's going to have lots of give, so it's going to absorb that impact to help protect your boat from any sort of damage. This is designed for boats that measure 15 to 20 feet long. So if you have a bigger boat, there are other options out there for you, as well as if you have a smaller boat. As you can see, there are ribs on this fender as to help reduce the amount of roll for our fenders, so it's going to be right where you need it when you need it.
It's not going to be rolling around to different location than where you set it.It does have the molded in needle football style valve. That's going to ensure that you can easily inflate and it's going to hold up well. It does have an integrated coloring agent that's going to help provide a much deeper, richer color. This is obviously a white, but it specifically, it's a pearlescent white color, and it's going to have some added luster in the sunlight. The dimensions given are 5.5 inches. I'm going to say it's a little bit closer at about 5.25, depending on how much you have it inflated.
And it is right about 20 inches long as the description says. The camera gives you a little bit of a skewed perspective there, but I would call about 20 inches. The eye holes here, I did measure them with a digital caliper earlier. I can confirm that they are just a little bit over 5/8 of an inch, not enough that I would want to change the state of measurement on the page, but it is just slightly over 5/8 of an inch. They do recommend that you inflate this fender to two PSI for optimal operation. This fender is made here in the USA, and it does come with a limited lifetime warranty from Taylor Made.
That's going to complete our look at the Taylor Made Storm Gard Inflatable Boat Fender..
