Best Thor Gemini Motorhome Vehicle Suspensions

Great suspension system, I have had them on all four Ford Transits great stability and load balancing and I haven’t had a failure, excellent for towing, the new pair I bought for my T350 HD has 2 spacers to adjust ride hight. I started out with one spacer and it looks normal and rides smoothly with a 3,500 lb. trailer.

Fell off after 1st drive. Load not that heavy maybe 2000 pounds. Had on last truck no problems. FORD Transit 250 seems to not work and fell off. Bolt stayed tight rubber part came off bolt and washer.

The order with Will at etrailer was great. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, Installation was not easy but not too bad, The hardest part was removing the factory pieces I removed them from below which was a blind nut removal operation. This is on a 2017 Mercedes Sprinter motorhome. After removal of the factory pieces I discovered that access is much easier on top between the tire and the mud flap, I turned the front wheels inward and they didn't have to be removed. The front of the motorhome had to be raised quite a bit to get the Timbren piece jnserted. Also I learned to tighten the bolt and nut in the Timbren bumper as much as possible before installation because there is no access to the bolt head when tightening the top nut to keep the bolt from turning, preventing tightening the nut.

The SumoSprings Helper springs have too much clearance between the spring and the axle. Probably because I have helper springs on the rear axle which raises the Sprinter somewhat.

We use it to keep our ford transit wheel chair lift van from bottoming out on large bumps and control body roll. They work great!!! Highly reccomend. Easy install and a truly noticeable difference.

Easy install. I purchased these for my 2017 Ford Transit 350HD DRW to help with body roll in windy conditions and with the van rocking back and forth when pulling into and out of parking lots. In windy conditions my high roof van felt like it was all over the road. The problem is not eliminated after the install of the Sumo springs, but is greatly improved. My expectations were met, and I am happy with the purchase.

They increase the carrying capacity of the stock springs by adding an additional leaf. We drive our van with most of the load above the rear suspension and it was bottoming out on occasion. Works as advertised; no more bottoming out! It is a bit of a struggle to install, so a professional may be needed

They do not fit. The kit claims it bolts right on the 2018 transit 350HD and it does not. First thing I found is you need to drill holes in the frame, even though the packaging says bolts right on. I put the top bracket on the frame with the bouncer bolt to line up to drill the hole and found the bracket is not even the correct size - it extends too far back and hits the cross beam on the frame. see pic. I spoke with e-trailer and they confirmed I have the correct parts according to Firestone. I am sending this back and going with sumo springs .....

This works really well on my Ford transit 350 dually. My only complaint is that on instalation the bolt holes didn't line up with the frame so I had to do some modification but after that it works super well. It keeps the vehicle level and really helps with towing.

I think they definitely increased handling. I might should have ordered the next stronger summo spring set. I am pretty happy with the summo springs overall after I upgraded my rear shocks to Bilstein B6 4600HD shocks on my Ford Transit T250.

Super easy install. I used my auto-leveling to lift front wheels to make room - you will need to take weight off of the axle to make room to install. Smoothed out the ride and body roll. Installed front and back Sumo's on my 2020 Jayco Redhawk 29 in about an hour.

Together as a set of front and rear sumo springs and the Hellwig anti-swaybar the ride in my Leisure Travel van is like night and day, improvement and handling!

Was somewhat of a struggle getting the hard rubber flanges into the welded brackets on the Mercedes frame,, a couple of larger flathead screwdrivers and some liquid hand soap definitely made the job so much easier !! Awesome driving improvement on my Mercedes Sprinter Thor Tiburon 24 TT

Installed the Timbren SES suspension aid on a 3500 Sprinter-based Winnebago motorhome. The ride/handling around town is improved - but have not experienced highway use yet. Installing these is very difficult. Required 4 hours for frustration and hard work. You must install one end of rubber mounting tab into bracket on frame and then "work" other tab into the frame bracket using large screwdriver, small wrecking bar, or both. Timbren recommends soapy water - others have used silicon or WD40 (which Timbren does not recommend). It would be nice of the instructions provided more detail on installation technique.

I am very pleased with these pillows, they are better than inflatable pillows and all my friends who have a Ford Transit, on my recommendation, bought and installed them on their cars and are very satisfied!

The sumosprings make a noticable improvement in handling of my RV.
