Best Ram 2500 Truck Tool Boxs

I pull a 42-foot fifth wheel with a ram 3500 diesel. I purchased this tank to extend my range before I need to fuel up again. With this extra 40 gallon capacity I can usually get to a campsite and then unhook and find cheaper diesel away from the interstate. I installed a inline fuel pump with a switch on the dash so when I get down to a quarter of a tank I flip the switch and keep on rolling. A great product from etrailer, well-built and serves my purpose.

The unit is great and serving it's purpose. But the Chinese locks are a problem when one breaks the key off and needs a replacement.

After 1 year the box still looks great and functions flawlessly..No chipping, cracking, or fading of the paint.. The box lid opens and closes beautifully and the lock works correctly..After 1 year I am very happy with this toolbox, it is a well-made, high quality item that I would buy again...

Looks fantastic on my truck. Provides ample storage. I love the interior carpet. Looking forward to getting many years of use out of this.

I will work perfectly. I am putting it on a 10'by 6'utility trailer. The trailer bed is going to have indoor outdoor carpeting on the bed. I will use it to carry pontoon boats, and the chest for oars, and life vests.

This tool box has worked flawlessly for the year it has been installed. No issues with access while towing my fifth wheel. All I have done is keep the locks and handles lubicated. Highly recommended.

The toolbox was installed in a 2010 Dodge 1500 Quad cab with a 6' bed. The bed had a bedrug previously installed and after the tool box installation I installed red LED's under the bed rail with a on/off switch near the tailgate.

It’s doing what it’s supposed to be doing! Holding my stuff. The only thing that I don’t like are the latches are a little difficult to open .

size is accurate fits my 13 ram 2500 with gooseneck trailer attached no problem great service from etrailer as always

Box is has been good and fits the needs I had. The the slim box, leaves more bad for short beds. It did show up with a small ding when delivered, but it was on the back side so I didn’t worry about it.

Top notch works like a charm

I installed this box in conjunction with my Bak Revolver X4, on my 2015 Chevy Silverado. The box itself is good, I wish that both sides of the cover had a latch, it feels like the right side of the box is lifted higher than the locked side, I don't know if water can get in, it sits under my tonneau. It will work with the X4 cover, however, you need to mount the box brackets to the bracket that attaches to the bedrails first, otherwise you cannot fit the bracket in between the two rails, it sandwiches it. Took two guys about an hour and a half to get it set correctly. Not a deal breaker, but there were some cuss words. After it was aligned and tightened down, my tools fit in there just fine, and I was happy. With my truck, I can still slide a 6' A frame ladder under the box, however, I have to put it under feet first. Just a heads up for any weekend side-jobbers out there.

Overall the box worked well. My only issue is it takes up far too much of the bed and does not work well with covers that also have side brackets. The two bracket systems together put the box more to the middle of the bed.

So far, so good. It arrived in very secure packaging, which is always a good sign. I just installed it - went in easily, no problems. Will be loading it up soon!

The tool box works great. Works for what we needed and is low profile.

I have a short box Ram 2500. I also pull a 5th wheel camper. A regular sized box would interfere with the hitch. This box works perfectly. It is not super heavy duty, but a good value for the price.

Excellent tool box and surprisingly durable, would purchase a second one but this one has more than enough storage space for a carry along tool box, all your fluids, straps, tire chains, and some other stuff??

Just picked it up, everything looks good. Now it gets customized to fit in my Jeep Cherokee XJ,,,,,,,,,,,,, ty

I like the size and drawer arrangement, but the front door hinge is starting to rust.

The toolbox is just the right height for my 5th wheel towing. I installed fasteners in the front of the bed and rear next to the tail gate so I could move the box forward or back depending on what I was going to carry with the 5th wheel. I am very satisfied with the box.
