Curt Trailer Hitch Mounted Step with Anti-Skid Surface for 2" Trailer Hitches
Packaged in a box with another boxed item. Not much done to protect it. Seems fine and the quality is fine.
Nicely fabricated with a quality black powder-coated finish. Good value for the money. Does exactly what we wanted it to do for accessing the contents of the box with tailgate up.

Carr Mega Step for 2" Hitches - Folding - 500 lbs - Mechanical Matte
Love it, great strong step. Needed little grinding on nuts that hold main plate to tongue assembly, they are too close to hitch entry point, make assembly wider! Pin hole barely lined up due to nuts hitting hitch and after grinding nuts slightly hole was barely lined up. Chamfered leading edge of my locking pin and drove it in with hammer, will have to drive out to tow so pain if its on an off a-lot. Gives it a tight e rattle free fit tho! Don’t expect slip on from package, needs fitting..
Yes, it is expensive..but as the cliche says, "You get what you pay for". This step has performed flawlessly, including the time a 30 pound log rolled out and hit it (open) when I opened the tailgate. Having seen and tried the cheaper alternatives (which I find small and somewhat less stable that the CARR product), I recommend it. That said, I have two little issues with it. 1) The foot plate does not stand vertical unless the assembly screws are tightened all the way down. In doing that, moving the foot plate to horizontal then requires two hands, not a foot to push down. 2) The holes in the mounting bracket (where the retainer bolt goes through the hitch receiver) do not line up with my Draw-Tite hitch. if it was drilled about 1/2 inch shorter, the back plate of the step would be tight against the hitch receiver. Currently, it moves slightly, which is a little disconcerting when stepping down from the truck bed with a mountain bike in your hands. Also, wish it was of thicker steel. Okay, there may be three issues, the CARR symbol looks like a Raiders football team logo, so being from Kansas City, it gets some comments. Would I buy one again...in a heartbeat. And yes, I do have a locking hitch bolt, otherwise, I would be buying another one due to theft! Lastly, make sure you put the step up when not is use. If you walk into with your shin, you'll only do that once.

HitchMate TruckStep Extendable, Hitch Mounted Step for 2" Hitches - 9" x 6" - 500 lbs
Works as advertised and received quickly.
Great product for a reasonable price - works as advertized and very strong. Etrailer's customer service was beyond compare - an email was sent to me at every step of the shipping process, and they upgraded me to a superior shipping speed at no extra cost. Great company to deal with and great pricing.

Reese Towpower Tow & Go Hitch Step for Ball Mounts - 500 lbs
Packaging not completely sealed. 1 bolt washer and lock nut are missing in transit. Luckily I'm replacing my broken one that lasted 6 years and I can use one of those to complete installation.
It arrived a day early! Bolted right on in a few minutes, the nuts are set in, so no need for a wrench on them, just the bolt. I run without a tailgate as I put my bicycles in the back so this step is PERFECT. I have a slide in camper, so, no tailgate. I pull a fifth wheel, so, no tailgate. Step on the step, then the bumper and safely into the truck. I already had the hitch, so this bolt on step makes the costs low.

Carr Mega Step Fold-Up Step - 2" Hitch - 14" Long - 500 lbs - Black
Great step. Fit perfectly on my Sprinter work van and with the anti rattle hitch pin it feels solid.
Exactly what I needed. Does not add to the overall length of my pickup so i can still park in the garage when weather threatens. ROck sold step. Everone I worked with was great. Excellent response and follow up.

WeatherTech BumpStep Hitch-Mounted Bumper Protector and Step for 2" Hitches - 300 lbs
Do not buy a locking pin. I bought one and after almost a year could not fit key in. Had to rent a truck as time was of the essence.
Fit well and was in fact a exact replacement on my 2012 Winnebago Adventurer

Curt Grip Step Trailer Hitch Mounted Step for 2" Trailer Hitches
I like it pretty well, however my friend doesn’t like it at all. She slipped off the side and fell breaking her hip. ended up with a complete hip replacement.
Works great

WeatherTech BumpStepXL Hitch-Mounted Bumper Protector and Step for 2" Hitch - 300 lbs
Love this step. It helps me get onto the roof rack and also provides protection for the rear bumper.
My wife wanted something that would help her step into our Travato motorhome via the back door. It's built on a RAM Promaster and entering through the back doors requires a pretty good step up to get in. When I saw the BumpStep, it looked like it would make getting in easier, so I figured I'd give it a try. It arrived this morning, took about five minutes to install using the included hardware and it works even better than expected. The only thing you need to install is a 15/16" socket. The step is super sturdy and makes it so much easier to step in and out of the van through the back doors. Would highly recommend.

Westin HDX Drop Hitch Step for 2" Hitches - 2-1/4" Drop - 34" Wide
It’s a great step not too big and not too small and it looks great.
Work great as a step for getting in and out of my work truck.

Hitch Step Attachment for BulletProof Hitches Adjustable Ball Mounts - 1,000 lbs
It's a perfect second step addition (i.e., I already had one of these but found that I needed a second step to make it safer) to my hitch when I don't want to put the scissor steps out.

Hitch Stair with 2 Steps for 2" Trailer Hitches
The steps are spaced well, strong (I’m 300lb test) and easy to install and remove. A great accessory to have for easy access to the bed of my Cache Camper truck/camper.
Overall I'm happy with the product. I use it for steps to get in my camper. It's fairly lightweight and small. I can leave it on the vehicle when I'm driving, or take it off if I want a smaller footprint for parking. I have a license plate camera (since my tailgate is off, so my factory camera is removed) and for the most part the camera view is not obstructed by the step. The build quality is pretty bad. I didn't feel like going through the hassle of return the product, but the top step is tilted quite a bit (see picture). It's just sloppy manufacturing. I'll live with it, but it's the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.
