Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Rear Axle
Our 2010 toyota sienna def doesn't sag as much with our full load of 2 parents, 5 teens, and our luggage. No more scraping of our attached hitch on the driveway apron. Since they have progressive resistance, the ride is still comfortable when not under load, but well-supported when loaded. Install was a damn wrestling match - def NOT as easy as the video. Ultimately I'm glad I chose these over the airbags bc now that they're in, they are maintenance free. One note, the version I got did not have holes for zip ties like a preview video had. I'm not concerned about that though bc of the tight fit, there's no way they're falling out.
My pathfinder sagged in the rear There was only 40,000 km on it I bout these Couldn’t get them on, took it to muffler man They had to remove and stretch the spring to get it on They installed it for 500 The rear is about 1,5 inches higher

Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Front or Rear Axle
Ok installed outside january 27th. Temp 10 degree windchill -5. I used canola oil since it stays slippery when cold. I recommend taking off the tires. Also wirebrush the coil spring to get rust and debris off. Coat coil spring in canola oil. Also 1997 crv rear will require about 3/4"-1" off of the helper spring before hand. The driver side took 15-20 mins the passenger less than 5. My car rear was sagging it sits level or slightly above level now in the rear. Mileage of vehicle is 73k shocks struts and springs are original. Curt class 3 hitch is also installed on vehicle. I am curious to see how it does while pulling a 5x8 trailer. Overall seems good only time will tell. Wondering how installing two on a side would do?
Working well to help us deal with a heavy trailer.

OEM springs not strong enough. After installed feels a lot stiffer and raised the back 2". Material looks really good. Installation done in 40 min using a nut driver, a flat head screw driver and hand soap. I did have to take wheel off it just makes like easier.
2005 Honda Cr-V, they went on pretty easy, it was a tight fit but no trimming required. I jacked the car up on some stands, had both sides installed and zip tied in 45 minutes..

Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Rear Axle
I installed a set of 1125 Sumo Springs in the rear coils of my Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid AWD to increase the spring rate ahead of a cross-country road trip. My RAV4 really sags with a rearward rake when passengers + rear cargo are loaded in the vehicle. This impacts the handling of the vehicle and throws off the aim of my headlights, which leads to other drivers flashing their high beams at me as my headlamps are shining in their eyes. Hopefully these Sumo Springs solve that problem. I’ve driven about 50 miles post install and can tell the ride is much more firm and stiffened up in the rear of the vehicle. The RAV4 feels much more sporty and planted. The install was much more difficult compared to my Sienna. In our van, the Sumo Springs slid right into place - it was a 10 minute job and I didn’t need to remove the wheels. On the RAV4, this was not the case. I had to remove the rear wheels to gain enough space to work the Sumo Springs into position between the coils. The fit was also much more tight; I had to really jam the Sumos into place and slide them into the center of the coil (it was a real arm workout). The Sumo Springs also overlapped about 2”, so I removed and trimmed each down with a razor knife to achieve a ~.5” overlap (per the supplied instructions). Install time was about 90 minutes as I had to remove the Sumos and trim them - which doubled my labor time. Time will tell to see if these work, but I’ve had a set of Sumos in my Sienna for about 15k miles / 1-year and they have done just fine, so I suspect these will too.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
These Sumo Springs were easy to install, even for a 70 year old guy. I tow a 7,000lb camper and even tho I have a nice WDH I still had som sag on my Tundra. These helped level it out when towing and got rid of “some” of the bounce. They were really a godsend when I overloaded the bed with about 2,000lbs of pavers. That weight squished the Sumos significantly but the truck drove and rode great. Better and less expensive than air bags.
Pros: Easy install Drastically helps with sag when towing trailers Cons: Things feel more bouncy in the back when not loaded They get hard as a rock in freezing temperatures (i.e. 15*F = no rear suspension) No option to unscrew the spring and replace with bump stop for the winter (at least that I can find, tell me if they make one).

Very impressed with the SumoSprings. Was hesitant at first, but purchased a set for my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe limited ultimate that had a squishy feeling ride and looked like it sat a bit lower in the back. Installed these on the rear springs and raised the ride height 1" in the rear and the ride is much better already. I'll have to see how they do with a loaded down vehicle but without the SumoSprings, 2 adult rear passengers and 2 dogs in the very back, suspension bottomed out over decent bumps and was not a good experience at all!
Fast delivery and easy to put on. Haven't put the trailer on yet, but rides nice with no weight

I'm not sure if this picture does it justice, but the before pictire with the boat covered, there is noticeable sag in the rear. Dealt woth that for a year. Installed the coil sumosprings helper yesterday and she's level now. Tip, when installing on an older vehicle with rusted springs, take some extra time to sand the springs until the feel smooth. Do that and the dish soap and they go on pretty easy.

I waited until I could drive the MH to rate this purchase. They were super easy to install. This difference was subtle but noticeable. Less body roll in corners and in windy conditions. This also resulted in better steering and a more relaxed drive. Well worth it!
Good quality, clear instructions and fast shipping

Initial reaction is positive - I installed front and rear sumo helper springs yesterday (5-23-19) and did a test drive around the block. The side to side pitching of our Transit Class B+ motorhome was greatly reduced. I still need to test on highway. I did not install the optional spacers that increase the ride height and reaction time of the rear sumo springs. The spacers will be added later if needed.
Just finished installing these on my 2014 Ford Expedition EL Limited. Very easy to install. Never removed the wheel to install. Jacked the vehicle up one side at a time and did the install. Haven't hooked to my 30ft camper yet to see how they work. Will update after my trip in July.

Pretty easy install on a Winnebago Solis, built on the Ram Promaster 3500 chassis, took about an hour to install on all 4 wheels. I only parked on a level surface and used the factory jack, didn’t even lift the van off the ground all the way but enough for clearance to install, no tire removal done. I gained about an inch of clearance which is nice for my onboard generator and hoping for a better ride on windy days. The pictures are before and after of (in order) front, rear, size difference of Sumo vs. oem and the generator.
I added Sumo Springs to my 2019 Winnebago Travato on the Promaster chassis, and it made a huge difference in handling. Better ride, less sway, and surprisingly, not any harsher. Would definitely recommend.

Drastic difference from stock bump stops. eliminates almost all extra highway sway/around turns. Beware- - is less than common for the nut that is welded in place that these thread into, breaks free and requires to be cut out via east hacksaw/flush cut. Sumo springs brand send me new, required after, nuts that made install no prob. Apparently this doesn’t happen every time? If I would have know this, I would have ordered the new nuts, just in case. Ask sumosprings about this for more info maybe? But for the price, any van carrying weight/camper needs these!
It was exactly what I ordered.

Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Front Axle
I ordered these for my RAM Promaster 3500 because I had heard from fellow owners that they are a worthwhile addition, for increased stability on the road. The instructions are good, and they weren’t too hard to install myself. They are kind of expensive for a couple of rings of dense foam/plastic, but I guess they must be petty heavy duty. I look forward to my next trip to see how they perform.
Install went fairly easy once I figured out the best spot to put the jack to lift the van. Really helped to have an oil filter wrench to get the old springs off the back. Took it out for a drive after an much better cornering and much less effect from wind and 18-wheelers. This was on a fairly windy day. No big difference in softness of the ride.

The parts are made with what appears to be a powder coat paint job. They all came packaged nicely and well protected. The instructions are clear, accurate and easy to follow. Mentioning that there is a left and a right assembly may be helpful to some. Mentioning "outboard" may be ovelooked by some. They installed easily. Removing the wheel gives you plenty of room for easy access. Once installed with my 4runner on the ground, the SumoSprings were resting on the frame. I do have a dog kennel and lots of training equipment that is loaded constantly. Hopefully these will help when I pull my RV. I did take it for a drive and it felt "firmer" more stable around sharp curves. I like them.
Way faster delivery than I expected. The Sumo Springs are great
