The 2" receiver I installed from etrailer has been working well for the past year. I haul several mountain bikes with my Acura MDX almost daily. The hitch arrived ontime, in good shape, with all required hardware. Welds and hole locations were right on. The install took less than an hour The hardest part was torquing the bolts to full spec (dont recall if that was 120 or 150 ft-lb). Used service removable loctite (blue). Also used etrailer for a 2" receiver on our Subaru Outback. There were more plastic exterior panels to remove with that one but it was not a difficult job either. 2 wins for me with etrailer!

Bought this because I was having trouble getting a receiver cover to fit in to my etrailer branded hitch. Covers I had bought were just a bit small and would fall out while driving. This cover fits very snug and should eliminate the falling out problem. It also has a very nice retainer band that keeps it attached while the receiver is in use. The device is very nice quality and was easy to install both in to the receiver and the strap on the hitch itself. It was a bit expensive but seems like it will work good. Overall very happy with it.

I debated between getting a plain hitch cover or a fancier one with a nice graphic on it and decided on this one. It's perfectly functional, fits well, and actually blends into the car so it doesn't draw attention to the hitch. Great product, and I'm very happy with it.

Keeps the grit, grime, and water out of my receiver, allowing me to insert my bike carrier without first having to clean it out! Someone else must have thought it was a great idea, so they stole mine! I had to order another one!

Clean appearance, but the fit into the receiver could be a bit more snug.

Hitch plug looks good, as if it is the original which came with the hitch. It fits perfectly. Delivery was quick. Very satisfied.
