Fast and just want I needed and good quality

This is a great all-purpose hitch. I've used it to mount a heavy-duty bike rack and a steel T-rack to carry a canoe as well as lumber. Most recently I hauled 5 x 8 cargo trailers full of plants, then furniture for a 600-mile move. It was simple to use, problem free, very strong and sturdy. Now that I live on some acreage, I see a trailer in my future, so this will get a lot more use. I drive a 2013 Tacoma, so this is a good size hitch at a good price with sufficient capacity for my needs. I do use a key lock for the hitch as well.

I actually got my hitch the date they said it would be here to my surprise. When the box arrived it was pretty much beat up, not the hitch just the box. I wished there was instructions how to install it. Overall very satisfied and will buy from 5hem again

Great purchase experience. eTrailer has this convenient package of ball and hitch already torqued together, AND includes a locking pin in addition to the normal cotter pin! The hitch and ball mount are excellent quality. My concerns are twofold. The hitch is so heavy that I had to take it to my mechanic to have it installed. Minor cost and inconvenience, but the hitch for my previous F-150 was just as sturdy, but easy to install myself (albeit with higher ground clearance). My concern about the ball mount is that the factory told me erroneously that it could not be reversed for a drop, so I returned it. This order is for the replacement after I was finally correctly told it could be reversed and how to do that. Ball mount would have been a 3 for that reason, and overall hitch and ball mount quality a 5. So I averaged them.

I have two of these. My first I bought two years ago. I very highly recommend this Curt Class III Ballmount 2" Drop because of its price, durability and quality. I towed various class 3 loads with ease and confidence with this ballmount. It slides into the hitch and does its job without fail. It looks excellent after towing a load. etrailer's price is about as good as it gets and delivery is very speedy.

Overly tight on the receiver end bit functions as intended.

I am an infrequent trailer user, but getting my daughter home from college was necessary in March. This drawbar fits my hitch and utility trailer well, did exactly what it is supposed to do, and was the last thing to be concerned about right then. I have a '11 Mini Countryman S with a Class II receiver from Mini Fini, (which cost twice as much as a Curt) where the hole is flush with the fake grille near the bottom of the bumper cover, so I needed the long bar to reach out past the bumper. The Curt receiver for that car hangs visible underneath the bumper (ugly), which also increases the lever arm on the receiver beam and would have needed an even taller rise. (Curt take note!) All just part of the kit to create an occasional 1 ton pickup out of my Mini, leaving the "bed" at home most of the time.

Strong and seems to be well made and well finished. One-inch ball mounting hole. I used this for a Curt hitch mounted on a 2014 Forester and pulls a small Harbor Freight trailer. Perfect height and trailer is level. Warning - don't get their hitch pin, it does not have a hole for a cotter pin, only a weak clip that I would not trust.

I searched the internet to put a hitch on my 2016 Chevy Equinox and found an instructional video from eTrailer.com where they installed on my exact car. I decided to go with eTrailer.com because they answered all my questions and because of the video-I support businesses that go the extra mile with these videos. Shipping was quick and well tracked, however, the box was flimsy and the one end of the hitch had come out of the box side and the ball mount could have easily come out of that hole during shipping. If I were eTrailer.com I'd charge an extra couple of bucks for more sturdy boxes-people will still buy as eTrailer is a well-trusted brand and this would overcome a lot of the negative reviews you'll see on their site about this shipping issue in their own reviews :-) I installed the hitch by myself (definitely recommend help as two people holding it up to the frame makes attaching 100% easier) in about 45 minutes total (out of the box, read instructions, review video again and installation complete). All hardware went on with no issues. Great quality hitch! I also bought the lesser expensive wiring assembly because most recent equinox's come hitch ready with pre-wired assembly in the left side compartment-snap and done. Picked up a new trailer at Home Depot within days and drove 5 feet and the clacking was horrible. I had always had a welded hitch before buying a hitch that took a ball mount. I really thought something was wrong and when I searched the internet that night it turns out this is very common. However, all you need is some sort of hitch "silencing" device. The number of options will drive you mad but I went with the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch and it did the trick for much less than most of the other options. If I were eTrailer.com I'd have that as one of the RECOMMENDED add-ons and explanation why its super-worthy when customers are buying a hitch. Would have saved me the time and hassle of dealing with it later and the extra shipping charge for buying after the fact when I got free shipping for the other items the first time :-) All in all, I'm super, super happy with my hitch, wiring assembly, ball mount, ball mount locking pin and the hitch silencer. After speaking with an etrailer phone rep, I did some measuring and opted for this Curt Euro-style drawbar. It looks good on my 2018 Kia Niro, and gets the ball height up 2" and back 3" from where my old ball mount was (much too close to license plate and trailer a bit low in front). For my car, it's the perfect match with the Curt trailer hitch.

Service from eTrailer was great, they even wrote to ensure I got the order correct when I ordered a different size hitch cover than the drawbar that I ordered.
