This is such a great idea! It works flawlessly with my Jeep Wrangler and my Offroad trailer. The dampening incorporated into the hitch makes my ride so much smoother. I used to hear the clanking, tapping and banging while braking and while trailering offroad, but not any more! I highly recommend this hitch to anyone.

This particular 10" drop hitch ball mount was the right mixture of quality, features, and low price. It appears to be quality built, and the shock cushioning is an unexpected plus. I used it right away today when I received it to tow my utility trailer to Lowe's. The trailer made less noise and rattling around in the receiver with this product. I have a lifted Jeep Wrangler and the 10" drop leveled out the trailer pretty well. Also happy the AMSC10 is made in the U.S.A. ! Ordering process and follow-up by e-trailer were first rate. This device is a great idea. I would highly recommend it for towing with smaller uni-body utility vehicles and small trucks because of their smaller drive components, but any vehicle will benefit. This is really nice with utility trailers that tend to bounce over potholes. I've used this product with a Jeep Wrangler and CJ7, Toyota RAV 4, Sienna and 4Runner as well as a Chevy Suburban.

My usage of your hitch is a bit unusual, I think. I pull a two ton roller with my Ram and I've used your cushioned hitch to smooth out the process. The roller Lunette just dropped over a 2" ball and then banged and jerked on the ball neck. Check out the photos for my adaptation.. I can flip it over and use the 2" ball! Have enclosed some photos. The cushion is holding up very well and it takes a beating!! Thanks

I use this hitch when I pull my horse trailer to make the stop/start transitions as smooth as possible for the horses in the back. It works great. I also love that its a category IV hitch. Really heavy duty. My truck sits pretty high, and the amount of drop - 8" is perfect. I never worry about hitch failure travelling with my horses - they're a heavy load, and any failure would be a disaster.
