the fit was perfert. as you can see from the pictures is attached, i drilled a hole in the top to drain water that collects. i fabercated a cover to fit over the opening.

Best upgrade to the 5th wheel you can do. Our first cross country trip and I-40 beat the snot out of us on all the bridge transitions with the stock pin box. Immediately ordered this unit and now it’s like the trailer is floating behind us. I run 65 psi in the airbag. Solid unit and easy installation.

Excellent item! Works exactly as promised. The only issue I have, which is a small one, is that I have to pump up the doughnut before every trip because the air will leak out. Not a big deal because I have the compressor out to pump up the tires anyway. This pin box takes 98% of the chucking and side-to-side motion out of our fifth wheel. Makes for a lot less white knuckle driving, eases everyone's nerves, and we arrive at our destination without the near whiplash we used to have. If you are looking for a way to ease the ride, this is an excellent product to accomplish that goal.

Freight co delivery estimated for Friday, arrived today. (Tuesday). Borrowed a tractor, dropped the old and lifted this monster into place. 12- 15/16 bolts (originally) 18 hole mount. Not sure if the height is correct for the bed, but will adjust it down if after the rubber bumper is inflated, if it doesn’t sit level. The bolt pattern was correct. better get help! From dropping the MFG lippert, to getting the thing lifted an bolts snugged up, about 45min. Will take a bit longer to attach the deadman switch and electrical box. Well crafted, definitely heavy. This should save my truck n RV from porpoising damage as I’m going over Bridges and bad roads.

This item arrived much faster than etrailer said it would. It came by truck, and the freight company driver was very nice and made sure I opened the box before he left. I installed it myself with some help from my 15 year old son. We used our forklift tractor attachment to put it in place. The Curt Flex Air totally changed the experience of pulling our 5er. It eliminates most of the chucking, and acts like shocks on a car, so ride returns to normal immediately after a bump in the road...which the Flex Air absorbs most of.

Changed out my old pin box for a Curt Flex Air pin box. This one seems to be very heavily built and should last for years to come. Haven’t had a chance to pull it yesterday but am sure it will pull and perform great. Thank you etrailer for another great shopping experience.

My wife and I are very pleased with our purchase of this product. We have taken numerous trips with our rig since installing it and what a difference it has made from the standard basic pin box. We no longer feel any chucking from starting off and stopping when towing our trailer. I figured it would definitely reduce it but it eliminated it completely. We tow with a one ton F350 long bed SRW and a B&W hitch. In my opinion It is not a DIY installation because of the sheer weight of the product otherwise I think that it would be. It is not a complicated item to install its just super heavy. In addition to my praise of this product, I would like to recommend the addition of grade eight hardware to be included with the product for installation. I think a few dollars more for the price should more than cover that cost. When it comes down to it the grade five hardware is sub standard for such a massive object in my opinion. It is supporting not only the weight of the pin box but the torque under load as well so for the purpose of safety, which is why we purchased it in the first place the hardware has to come off anyway to take off the old pin box. So why not replace it at the same time. My two cents worth anyway. I would definitely recommend this product to others who are looking to eliminate the chucking felt under a standard fifth wheel pin box.

Well, The hitch was to be delivered on the 23rd. Tforce the company you chose to deliver is located in the Philippines and after speaking to 5 different NON English employees I gave up. So I called the Tforce in Fontana Ca where the hitch is now. NO One answers the phone then after 30+ attempts a female answered and before I could complete my request she transferred my call to an empty line.

Had trouble receiving the hitch through UPS (they lost it --[48 miles from my residence] conversation with Stacy at etrailer and they shipped another, which my wife and I installed. etrailer was very helpful in sending another to replace the one UPS lost. Thanks so much

Hannah did an excellent job of working with me to find the correct upgrades for my towing system. 5 stars got her. Tge package arrived with the king pin poking through the box and having deep scratches. I think it will function ok. 3 stars for those handling shipments and deliveries.

We used to have a lot of slop with our hitch and that has lessened immensely since our purchase of the MORryde pin box.

Product was received as expected. Installation went very well. I am eager to try it out this week on the road!

The pin box worked out very well. You still feel the bumps but almost no chucking. My wife likes to sleep in the truck with her head against the head rest, but she could not do that with the old pin box. The only thing that I had to do with the new pin box was drill out the holes because the old pin box had bigger bolts.

Replaced Rhino with this unit on my Cedar Creek 311RL. It was straight forward and simple, but not easy for this old man to do it solo. Used the tailgate as my shop. Stuck the back up in the air and drove back to insert into the bracket. I then used the levelor on the trailer to line up 2 of the holes to insert the first bolts. I used a car jack near the pin to raise the 230 pound box into line up position to insert the other 8 bolts. Torqued it down and aired it up, then test drove it. Rides like a dream. Much softer on those in the tow vehicle and I assume on the fifth wheel itself. Service from etrailer was good. The advice and recommendations for my specific rig was a little off. But I was able to do research myself. Shipping was timely. Over all another successful etrailer transaction. Thanks to everyone.

Hitch king pin box was a perfect fit and installed easily. I just finished hauling the trailer with it on a 5000 mile trip and it worked flawlessly.

Appears to be able to meet my needs. The unit arrived as schedule however the shipping box was damaged which was no fault of ETrailer but rather the shipper. Will be installing next week.

Very great product, took the chucking and jerking out when towing my fifth wheel, would recommend it to anyone, wish I would have gotten it years ago.

Dramatically reduced chucking as hoped. There is more start/stop slop than I had expected but I'm guessing that is due to my trailer being at the top of the weight rating for the rubber block. I need to put a camera on it to verify my theory. All in all a huge improvement.

So far this is a welcome upgrade. Took it on a short trip over some rough road that normally triggers chucking on my F-250. This pinbox prevented it which was a welcome change. I’m looking forward to some longer trips. Installation was straightforward. Removed the old pinbox which was fairly easy. Installing the new pinbox would’ve been a challenge had my buddy not had a forklift attachment for his tractor. I don’t know the exact difference in weight between the old Lippert pinbox and the new Moryde, but it is substantially heavier. I’d say 2 people muscling and one to install the hardware would still be a challenge. Forklift or similar is the way to go. Also, the new pinbox doesn’t come with new hardware. Got to use your old or make a trip to Lowe’s/Home Depot. All and all I’m happy with the upgrade, but I thought it was pricey and don’t like the additional weight.

This cushioned pin box is definitely worth the upgrade. Chucking is greatly reduced (There's no getting totally away from it) and the frequency of the chucking is tempered making the ride much more pleasant. There are times when you forget your towing it's so smooth on decent stretches of road. Delivery was quick (3 days early as a matter of fact) and driver dropped it in my garage. Plus the fitment was perfect, bolted on with no problem. Entire experience was good !!

When I got it, there was like eight or nine scratches the bracket that hooks to your camper that hooks to the plate the lip that bends over was bent up so I had to use a hammer to knock it back down and a couple other places where it was looks like it’s been dropped It’s far from his heart, but it don’t look the best.

It's a great pinbox. Really helped with chucking and compatible with my Demco sliding hitch. Also no issues with delivery, was helped by Pam and Jessie. They are awesome people to work with.

I have had many coach's with this hitch, that is why I am changing out the one currently in the coach to this. UPS delivery sucks. Box was misrouted to another terminal after arriving at the facility near me. Caused an extra day's delay in delivery. When box did finally arrive it was virtually destroyed and driver claimed box showed up open and that they had to retape it this morning ING before delivering it.

We have gone over 2000 miles and the MoRyde Cushioned 5th Wheel Pin Box fot the Lippert Rhino and it works great!! What a difference it made in pulling my 5th wheel trailer!! It was the best investment I made for my 5th Wheel !! Easy to install if you’re handy! I would highly recommend this product!!

Ordered the Morryde pin box to replace the Rhino pin box on a 2022 Riverstone Reserve. Shipping from Etrailer was right away but had a little delay with the shipment because the semi truck could not get up my road. Taking off the Rhino pin had a little trouble as one of the bolts was cross threaded, which I have read from others also having the same issue. The Morryde came with all the hardware and with two people had it changed out in about an hour. Took it for a small drive and really seems to make a big difference, will get it out for a longer drive soon on my next trip. The new pin box went in the same position as the old one and did not change my level or bed clearance.

I have not installed this part on my 2021 momentum 395MSR yet, but it was received in perfect condition. I had the same pin box on my Solitude390RKR and loved the way it handled. If the part does not perform as expected once installed and after I have some miles behind it i'll update my review.

Installed this MORryde cushioned pin box on a 20K# toyhauler(from a solid pin). Comparing 9K miles before and 11K miles after, it made a remarkable improvement in the ride, especially on choppy, rough roads (think I-40 across New Mexico). Easy bolt-on installation. I consulted with the staff @ etrailer.com to ensure the correct hitch model was selected. Shipping was straight forward via truck freight. Excellent communication through the process.

I just completed a 2800 mile trip after installing the Trail Air Air Ride pin box on my Solitude 5th wheel. I was able to install it myself from the bed of my pickup using a hydraulic bottle jack to lift it into position. I previously made the same trip with the factory installed MORryde Cushioned Pin Box and the Trail Air provides a greatly improved ride. With the MORryde, I encountered several sections of concrete highway that set up a front-to-back oscillation which persisted across many miles. I didn't have that issue with the Trail Air. I didn't order the Flex Air model that also included the flexible block because I was concerned the added height of that pin box would have been a problem. However, after installing the non-flex Trail Air I've found that the other one would have also worked out if I lowered my truck hitch an inch or two. Also worth noting, this pin box is four inches shorter than the 1621 MORryde it replaced. However with a long bed truck I have no clearance issues and can still lower the tailgate when hitched up.

I'm pleased with the pin box. Put it on my 5th. wheel. The airbag gives us a better ride than any other pin box. Its a great product.

Entirely better experience towing, my wife and I picked up our 1st 5th wheel toyhauler camper and towing it home it started jerking back n fourth, not knowing what the hell was going on she wanted to return it. I did some research and found this Moryde cushioned pin box and it’s super smooth. We’re both very happy and feel a lot more comfortable towing places.

This Pin box bolted directly into the camper pin box mounting plate. Best of all the longer pin box added more than enough length to the system to allow the our 5th wheel to be connect to the truck with the tailgate in the lowered position. The only negative is that the description of the item stated that the pin box is powdered coated to prevent rusting. The item came with plastic wrap on it and the powder has multiple areas where the paint was chipped.

For those of you who, like me, may have purchased a truck with the under the bed rail system for your fifth wheel you know the positioning of the rail system is set in front of the rear axle instead of directly above the axle making the distance between the cab and trailer that much closer. This can cause a problem hooking up with your tail gate in the down position if you have a medium length pin box on your trailer. etrailer has a great chart online to help you determine what kind of pin box you have and if there is another one manufactured that will fit in the same place. This longer pin box for me was a great economical, safe solution. The Lippert 1716 long box is a direct replacement for the Lippert 1116 medium box, but is seven inches longer giving me the needed distance to hook up.
