Finally got my new B&W Companion Gooseneck to 5th wheel hitch installed in the bed of my 2024 Ford F250 Lariat. While I have not pulled my fifth wheel yet, I have hooked up to check clearances, etc. first thing I noticed was how easy hooking up and unhooking was with this witch. This hitch is solid and I look forward to many miles traveling with it. My truck has 6.7 foot bed and in the picture I will send you will notice I still had room for a 43 gallon auxiliary fuel tank. I wanted to be able to easily utilize my truck bed and this hitch provides that in spades! Easy to remove and install. I absolutely have to give a shout out to Paula on customer service. She was amazing! My first shipment was damaged and missing a vital part. Paula had another one shipped right away and made my return shipment a breeze. She stayed in contact with me to the end. I felt like she shared in my joy once the install was complete! The hitch is super adjustable for optimal placement in the bed and height of the trailer. Make a few quick measurements and it just goes together quickly. Love the dual jaw release lever. Our last 5th wheel hitch had the standard pull to release lever and it was often very difficult to operate. This lever style is a game changer. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with the product and customer service!

I have not towed with it yet but the build quality is excellent. The finish is perfect. The slider function is very smooth. It was very easy to get in the truck, but not sure that is unique to any modern puck system. The cotter pin on the castle bolts on the puck locking handles were a bit finicky. It is heavy, but not as heavy as I thought. I think I have a few more years in me for moving it myself!

my companion 5th wheel hitch(rvk3370) hitch was delivered on 3/11, I installed it in a couple hours on 3/12. It was a piece of cake, the delivery was made with a lift gate truck that I back my truck up to and had the driver lower the lift gate down onto my tailgate, I unpackaged the hitch and was able to Maneuver it by myself into the puck system on my truck, I have the slider hitch so much heavier than the standard one, but still very easy for my 65 year old body to handle, the B t W was the only hitch I considered because of the ruggedness and quality of their products my truck is a 2023 Ford F 350

This hitch works extremely well. The slide is nice if you get into any tight cornering situations. The hitch top and base separate making it a bit easier to mount and unmount.The lock washer used with the mounting bolt that draws up against the gooseneck pin broke on the 2nd use. I had 2 different torque wrenches set to 79 lbs that I tested the bolt with. Unsure why it broke. But overall we love this hitch and we pull a 38f 5ver without issue. Very smooth ride.

There is a slapping noise or a bumping coming from the fifth wheel can't seem to find it and I don't know if something is wearing out been finding metal shaving in the bed not big one's but enough to concern me though maybe you might have some insight about this? This starting happening about 6 months of Use.

Love how this comes apart making it EASY to remove from truck bed and re-install. Easy to assemble with standard hand tools and torque wrench. When the snow clears here in Montana I will THEN hookup the 5th wheel to the hitch. By the end of camping season 2025 I will return to provide an update. Photos show one box (hitch head) that UPS delivered promptly without damage. The other box (hitch base) UPS took on a tour of the east coast and as a result was loaded and off-loaded from many many more trucks. The boxes aren't designed for that. Result was a torn-up box that UPS tried to keep together with tape. Fortunately, the contents were 'contained' within the box, and nothing was damaged as a result. That issue is not a B&W nor an eTrailer fault in my opinion.

Etrailer quick delivery 3 days to Cali. Hitch is Very stout construction excellent welding, very easy to assemble! My only negative response is that the packaging. Hitch had a couple scratches due to it bouncing around while in transit. B&W should improve their packaging.

I bought a new trailer recently that weighs 16k and I just didn't feel secure using my Reese pro series 16k to Haul with. So I started looking at various hitches. I've had 3 other fifth wheel hitches in the past. All of them have been 15 and 16k models. What I never liked was the latching system. I've even had a trailer come out of the hitch due to a poor latching hook up. There wasn't an good way to lock the hitch. Some of it was my fault and some was a poor design. When I saw the Curt Q20 had a latch on the handle and also was color coded I was hooked. This hitch satisfied my want list. It arrived 4 days after I ordered it and like other comments I've read it was full of heavy duty staples. It was double packaged. There had to be over 50 staples. It was defiantly packaged securely. After dimantaling the packing I finally got to the hitch. There were a few scratches on the hitch from all the staples but a bit of black touch up paint took care of that. After all the hitch is going to be used and get scrached by me anyways. Four bolts and it was together. It fit perfictly it my existing rails. By the way it's heavier than my other hitches. I wound be apprehensive to pull my new trailer. If your looking for a great hitch at a great price you can't go wrong.

Hitch works great, can now hook up to trailer without having to stop & put up tailgate, then finish backing up. Tailgate would hit front of trailer when hooking up. The two things I didn’t like as well as others, the box with the base unit was tore up, but unit was fine , and the cotter pins for puck latches need to include extras, or make holes bigger for keeper pins. Also added small chains to hairpins that hold look pins for top so they don’t get lost.

This is the second B&W slider I have owned. The quality is second to none. Took about 30 minutes to install. Years ago I bought one used, it was missing the little spring that keeps the head level, I called B&W to inquire how much it cost and where I could get one. They sent me the replacement for free, even though I told them I had bought it used. That tells you all you need to know about this company. Customer for life.

High quality, love the slider feature! We started full time RVING this year! But I bought the hitch during a sale! My only concern is that the truck manufacturers, the RV frame manufactures and the hitch manufacturers don’t coordinate. My 2024 RAM bed height plus the hitch at the lowest possible setting does not allow my 5th wheel to be level. I am slightly nose high. It is possible to get a different brand hitch or the non slider version of the BW that is slightly lower- but I’m not willing to give up the slide feature due to having a short bed truck. Overall, I’m pleased with it.

This is my first 5th wheel hitch. Great looks, build quality, and component is easy to operate correctly for a confident hitching experience. Highly recommended. As a plus, the modularity of the assembly easily facilitates upgrade to a higher capacity hitch or component repair if needed. Easy to keep clean and maintain.

I like the Reese hitch for my Ford F350, it pulls great and has no signs of wear on the hitch after pulling for over 5320 miles.

Install was easy and the hitch performs perfectly. I have ZERO complaints. Even a year later, it performs great.

Shipping was extremely fast and all the extra information that can with the products I purchased made the entire experience that I would return for and refer friends to.

I received my #20000 curt hitch with slider rail a couple of days ago. The problem is I received two slider rails and no top hitch. I called etrailer to inquire about the shipment. The folks on the line were very helpful. They reordered the hitch head and made arrangements to have the extra slider rail picked up at my house which will happen in a couple of days if all goes well. Mistakes happen and I will see how it is corrected. I will wright another review when the hitch head arrives.

A great price shipped fast via freight. No issues with broken boxes as many others have mentioned. First fifth wheel for me, assembly and install into the factory Ford pucks was amazingly easy. Do not know for certain if the slider will be necessary for our new Arctic Wolf camper. We may swap out for stationary legs if we can get away with it. I love etrailer!

I traded my Curt 16k slider hitch for this new crosswing It definitely moved my trailer back 5 inches and I do not see the need for the slide hitch I rarely used. It is lightweight and easy to manage by yourself ( my old one was just too heavy ) The new hitch has nearly eliminated all of the chucking and bucking.
