Most Popular 6 Inch Extension for 2018 Toyota RAV4

Hitch and extender arrived within 4 days of order. Super easy install. Great products and E Trailer kept me informed from day one. Great Service, will deal with these folks again.

Purchased this extender to use on my daughter's RAV4 which has the spare tire mounted on the rear hatch/door. The extender allowed us to use our two bike hitch rack without interference from the tire. Without it, you can only use the outer tray of the rack as the tire gets in the way of mounting a bike on the inner tray. Good product that served it's intended purchase purpose.

The Curt C45785 1.25 inch to 2 inch hitch adapter seems well-constructed, but does NOT fit the current SPA Volvo OEM 1.25 inch automatic retractable hitch receptacle (mine is on a 2020 V60 Cross country). The lock pin hole doesn't go back far enough to accommodate the pin -- see photo.

Sits fairly loose in the 1 1/4" hitch receiver. Also didn't come with a hitch pin, so you have to buy that separately too.

I purchase this to use with a Thule bike rack. The Thule rack requires a 2-in receiver so this should have worked. However it's so shaky and loose that I didn't feel comfortable driving it down the street. I should have returned it but I went back to using another vehicle I have with a 2-in receiver.

Hitch pin hole was too far up the shaft and couldn't lock into the receiver. Had to return.

At first I was skeptical but now that I’ve put it together I’m very impressed. This thing is heavy duty and pulls my trailer no problem. Korren did a great job helping me out. Excellent customer service.
