Stromberg Carlson 2 Bike Carrier for RVs - Ladder Mount - Aluminum
Yes I did receive the racks and they look great, my husband put them on and his comments were he wished the screws were longer, and the latch down loops were tough to get hooked over the bikes. Also we thought it would be nice if it came with some pads to keep the bikes from banging together or against our spare. Overall we lke the product, and the construction it seems sturdy and we like that it swings out of the way for ladder access. Your service was very prompt, which is always appreciated.
Received in good condition. I am using the Ladder Mount Rack LA-102 on my RV to carry my pedal assist, Sondors Electric bike. Due to the location of the battery box in the triangle portion of the frame, I have to carry the bike upside down. That is with the front wheel up and using the seat post frame but on the opposite side. I think this will work well except for not being able to use the rubber straps because the space between the battery box and frame post is too small. I have to use a total of three bungee cords to hold the bike on and in an upright position. I have included pictures. Please let me know if you think there will be problems using the rack in this manner.

Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs
Unconventional Use. This was purchased not to hold bikes but as a frame to hold flag poles which were affixed to it with off the shelf hardware. The actual receiver tube will be used for a custom camp site sign identifying our family. Overall the frame exceeded our expectations for quality and functionality. I cannot comment on its originally designed use, but for what we use it for it was the perfect choice.
I ordered one of these a year ago and it arrived with critical welds missing. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they sent me a brand new unit. Mounting was easy (with the right tools). I did swap out the crummy fasteners that they supply for attaching to the trailer tongue with grade 8 yellow zinc plated fasteners from [online]. It is holding up great and makes bike carrying super easy. I like that I can see them in the rear view mirror and see if anything is coming loose. I used a cheap bike rack on this and flipped the arms of the rack around rearward to keep the bikes close to the front of the travel trailer. This also allows me to fully open the hatch of my tow vehicle when the bikes are mounted. So overall this is a nice addition that avoids trying to mount anything to the flimsy rear bumper of the travel trailer, although it does add some tongue weight. I am super happy with it so far and it looks nice a year later despite having sat outside 100% of the time.

The bicycle rack mounted easily by myself without help from another person. It is very strong and holds our two bicycles just as I had hoped. I slipped a pool noodle over the upright support bar to prevent scratching the inside bicycle. The only thing I can suggest is that the product would have been better if it included the cover for the upright support pole and some strapping material to keep the bicycles solidly in place while traveling. The strapping material is not a big priority for me though because I have lots of it.
This was a great compromise in cost, ease of install and use. Easily attached to the bumper (and saved cost as I didn't need to install a hitch on the RV). Bikes went in well, but needed to use pool noodles to insulate the bikes from each other and from the central pole. (Will switch to more sturdy pipe insulation next time). Add some bungies and velcro straps (to hold the wheels) and you're all set. Held our 2 mountain bikes flawlessly over our 8,000 mile road trip last summer.

Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
We love our Hollywood RV Rider Bike Rack. We have loaded it on our 87 Jeep Wrangler, our ‘06 Lexus, and our ‘83 Pilot. It is a perfect fit on all three! We needed the extra length to clear our rear mount tire on our Jeep. It worked! We have taken our 4”fat tire e-bikes on many roads from northern Idaho to southern Arizona. The bikes travel well and sturdy on this heavy weight rack. We feel very confident that they stay in place. We are able to load our bikes in a few minutes and hit the road in no time. It is very easy to load. We recommend using the bar grip extenders (which came in the package) to compact the storage area. This rack comes with a tip mechanism to allow you to tip the bikes down to access the rear trunk or hatchback.
I have had several name brand bike racks and the Hollywood Racks RV Rider is by far the best. The rack is very sturdy and lite weight. It was easy to assemble with very good instructions. The rack fits our fat tire e-bikes and my SUV perfectly. The rack is very easy to adjust and while it sits high as to not drag the bikes when exiting parking lots, loading our 60lb e-bikes is no problem at all with the appropriate nethod, one wheel at a time. It is also possible to lean the rack to access the rear hatch on my SUV. The main reason for purchasing the rack is it is certified to mount behind a motorhome or on an SUV while being flat towed. There is literally no movement or sway of the rack behind the SUV. Very happy with this rack.

Thule Range RV Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches
I tried two other brands of bike racks on our Travel Trailer. They were simply too weak to handle the sway and bouncing that happens at the back of a Travel Trailer. This one is perfect. Well-built and very sturdy and it holds 4 mountain bikes for road trips of several hundred miles without any issues.
Getting the bikes loaded, using the straps provided is a five star review the negative that I have found is on the back of my Camper The bolt in the receiver consistently comes loose, which allows the bike rack to rock back-and-forth,

Yakima LongHaul RV Bike Rack - 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Silver
This rack is defintely durable. We've had it for a year and it has worked great. The only issue is if you have youth or women's bikes. My bike (GT Mountain) has more than enough space for the rack but my son's bike (Trek Mountain) and my wife's (Shwinn) are very hard to load because of the space between the forks and the upright for the seat. I have gotten it to a science now that i've had it for a year but if you own specialized bikes (Youth or women's) your gonna find it hard to load and 4 bikes at the same time is gonna be almost impossible unless you start taking wheels off. They have a bar that they sell separately that goes from the seat post to the handlebars but i haven't purchased it yet. All in all it works pretty well. Pic is with only 2 bikes
Not RV rated. Mine bent on the main tube going up and the arms going out holding the bikes. I contacted etrailer and Yakima without any warranty support. Both stating I loaded the bikes incorrectly. etrailer's website does not provide any instructions for how it should be loaded. Rating is for 37.5lbs per bike and you can not go over that limit even 0.5lbs. Good thing I didn't have 4 full size bikes on there. I purchased Yakima specifically because of the name brand but I guess it is what it is.

Swagman RV 4-Bike RV Bumper Mount Rack
For the few times we take bikes with us, it has worked out well. I use pool noodles over the bike frames and rack bars to keep from scratching the paint off the bikes. I spaced them for adult bikes, so the kids bikes don't sit down tight. I've just used the 1" tie ratchet straps and rubber straps to hold everything down. It can be challenging to get 4 bikes secure, but I haven't lost one yet. There really aren't any good spots to hook into, so I may modify accordingly. I would probably by them again.
Junk absolute junk never used it through it in the trash very disappointed.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Nissan Rogue
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp 2 bike platform rack and how it fits on the 2017 Nissan Rogue. So this bike rack has a lot of good qualities about it that make it popular for people with electric bikes, some of the other electric bikes you have to get the ramps sold separately, and you have to remember to keep it inside your car. This one is included with rack and it's kept on it. There are some different features though that you may have to be careful of with how close it fits to your vehicle. If you have longer pedals, things like that, be mindful.
Fit Check: Testing Swagman XTC2 TILT Bike Rack for 2 Bikes on a 2017 Nissan Rogue
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at how the Swagman XTC TILT fits on the 2017 Nissan Rogue. So seeing these two together, there's some things I like to bring up. This is an affordable entry level bike rack and it works great with carrying around your bike safely and securely. Plus you have a good tilt mechanism. Another thing though, is it does come kind of close to your Nissan Rogue and that's gonna be very important depending on what types of bikes you're carrying around.
Is the RockyMounts GuideRail Bike Rack for 2 Bikes Compatible with the 2017 Nissan Rogue?
Hey everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at how the RockyMounts GuideRail two-bike platform rack fits on the 2017 Nissan Rogue. So this bike rack is awesome because of how quick and easy it is to put your bikes on, as well as how versatile it is, for whether you have your mountain bikes, your road bikes, your carbon fiber frame bikes, or even your electric bikes. Now focusing on the Rogue here, one of the major features is that you can pull that latch underneath and then tilt your entire bike rack away. So this can be very useful if you wanna open up your hatch. See how much clearance we have between the door, the pedals and the handlebars.
