The plug is different from original cord. Doesn’t look as good but we’ll see how it works. 1st new cord

It's a bundle of wires with a plug. Hard to make this type of part special above other brands. Price is the big factor. Not quite sure why this one is 50% less cost than some others. But works as expected. Solved the dreaded taillights blinking while traveling on the road.

It served its purpose to convert 4 connection to 7 connection to make it compatible with Toyota 7 connection set up diagram which is different than many American or other 7 point connection. Thank you E-Trailer . 5 stars and it's working just fine 1 year out from installing.

Used to make a test lead when trouble shooting new GM trailer brake controller and kept as spare.

Worked out well.

2 things. 1st@: I think there should be an option to pick tinned wire. 2nd: The ring terminal for the ground needs to be bigger.

The person who helped me find the correct part went above and beyond just taking my order and helping me find the correct part. Now I know why my dad suggested that I try etrailer to find the part I needed.

It’s nice to have an inexpensive replacement part rather than buying another whole harness!

I used this product along with your 7 round pin to 4 flat adapter, item #118709, on the lights on our Brent and Parker grain wagons. This has worked out great so far. We haven't had the problem of too much or too little cord for the trailer lights, which allows the cord to get pinched and cut or stretched and broke. I just need to come up with a method of securing the cord and plug to the trailer tongue when not in use.

Pretty heavy cord. Feels like good quality.

Just what I needed for my home-built bike carrier. My wife rides an e-tricycle and by the time I loaded the trike and a couple of bikes on this platform, you could not see the car's taillights or blinkers. This harness worked perfectly!

Used this to rewire a 6 x 10 trailer. Inserted the wire through 3 feet of metal conduit to keep it from being damaged near the coupling. So now the only exposed wire is the ¼ inch right at the connector.

This is very heavy duty looking connector and wires. I needed one to replace the damaged one on my Demco car hauler which is built for rental market. This looks as heavy duty as the original. Which didn't break but someone let it drag on the ground and wore half the pins off.

I didn't use the male end, it's in the tool box for later use. I used the female end on the front of my Jeep GC for the light hook up to my motorhome. I used mounting bracket #118137 and wiring harness RM-154 to complete the wiring part of the set up. Everything installed nicely, and a year later is still working great.

This was easy to install looks great and works excellent. have had on issues with this product my trailer lights are always working and keeping me safe.

This 7 pin connector replace the original connector that came on my camper that was not connecting good. This new one snaps in much better and does not come loose. I works very well.

I like the features and build quality but should have done more research. It took three tries to get the wiring right. The product ships with 0 documentation. I downloaded a diagram off the web but misunderstood the orientation of the plug and wired it wrong twice before figuring it out. I’m old fashioned and expect instructions included. The etrailer online video did not show the inside or how to open/wire it. This is also my first attempt at trailer wiring. Work over a tarp- the parts are fiddly and you will drop a few. The connections are set up for bare wire or 0 & U shaped crimp terms.

Seemed like a good item to have in a pinch, so I have not used yet.
