Reese 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Glossy Black
I ordered the bag and Hitch Basket together in one order for a trip in July. I will follow up with a review after the trip. I can say that it was super easy to put together and the quality is evident as soon as you open the box. Super quick shipping also, ordered it Friday, got it Monday. My only question is on the back of my 2013 Durango with dual exhaust is it going to get hot enough to damage the bag when i'm going down the highway at 80mph? I did a test run without the bag and it didnt seem like the basket got hot, a little warm. Any one that has driven any distance that can let me know would be a huge relief for me.
The cargo carrier arrived when promised and the Helpful Hints Assembly instructions expedited the relatively simple assembly process. The carrier solved my need to store luggage in my SUV so that I could free up the third row seats for people and pets.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Tall - 150 lbs
Put this on an 2023 Rav 4 Hybrid- Easy to put together. You might need two people to get it up on top. Strong. Will create some wind noise after install. Solid build and construction.
I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
I recently purchased Curt Roof Rack and Curt Roof Cargo Basket from Etrailer for my 2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport and the product was excellent, easy to install and Etrailer rep Mr. Mike B having great experiences and very helpful with the products. Thank you!
The reason I bought this basket is due to gas prices. I have a 4X4 suburban I use for camping and hunting but it takes a small loan to fill up the tank. Actually this basket cost less than it does to fill it up. So my thought was if i can get all my gear on my daily driver then i could save some money and maybe even sale the burb. So i gave it a shot last weekend. The rack was easy to put together. I had it out of the box and on the roof in under 30 minutes. As you can see in the pic, i have a rather large ice chest, chain saw, 6 man tent, gas stove and my chair on the roof. My camping destination was about 3 hours away. First was a hour of highway driving at speeds around 70. No issues there. Then 2 hours of windy back roads. No issues there either. The basket made it possible for me and my two kids to load up in the car and head to the hills for three days. The plus for me was it only takes 50$ to fill up the car. :-) I had the max weight in this basket with no issues. I'm very happy with this basket.

20x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
I had researched what type of carrier I wanted to buy and settled on this one. I was a good size, folded and has a railing to attach straps to. I also wanted to buy a cargo bag and anti rattle hitch lock but was not sure which ones were the right ones for my vehicle and this carrier. I called the company and spoke with a woman who was very friendly and helpful. She was able to confirm that the cargo bag I was looking at would be a good fit and told me what anti rattle hitch lock would work best. I placed the order and could not wait to receive the items. I received a e-mail within an hour confirming my order and that the order had been shipped. I received the order in two days rather than three as I had been told which was a nice surprise. I put together the carrier by myself and put it on my 2012 Dodge Durango and it fit perfectly. I was very pleased. The instructions could be done a little better but I am very pleased with the service and product so far and am looking forward to using it on our first trip. I feel confident that I got the best products to fit my needs and a great price.
Product came in the next day after being expedited for free. I was told 3-5 business days so that was a great surprise. Took me 15-20 minutes to set up. Its a little cumbersome but once on the truck is feels solid. There are other reviews that complain about the 1-2 inch play up and down but I believe that the manufacturer made it a little smaller at the receiver end to allow for certain hitches that have a build up of dirt or rust. Most recommend washers but I opted for wooden shims to stabilize it since they will be easier to pull out if needed.I had it loaded to the gills with luggage and a cooler and did not feel any bump whatsoever. It actually felt like it was a part of the truck. I was extremely happy with this hitch carrier and have friends already requesting use of it. I think by the time winter is over it will be paid for by "lending" out for buddies. I didnt attach a picture because there is already a video of a Dodge Durango in the catalog file and it looks exactly how it is in the video. The folding option is awesome! My box came fully intact unlike other unfortunate buyers. Great product!

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
I use this on my 2022 F250, when hauling my cab over. I was able to remove the folding part and attach it straight to my hitch to get it closer to the back of the truck. It’s light weight, decently sturdy, and easy to assemble.
This thing was not fun to put together. At all. But I got fair warning about it from the reviews. I suggest a 17mm socket bit and a drill. Plan on taking it apart a couple times so don't cinch it down tight at first. Once it is put together it's a solid unit. It'll be nice for our camping trips. The light bulky stuff that took up precious real estate can now ride outside.

Curt 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Matte Black
Great cargo rack! Well made and strong. We modified ours to carry our ebikes on top of our generator and cooler. We've been from coast to coast with no problems.
Used it a hand full of times for camping with two different SUVs and its been great. Once over 2000 miles round trip. With the waterproof bag you can hold more gear since it goes above the side rails. Just be careful if your driveway slopes down you’ll lightly scrape the ground when backing out. And if you have a smaller suv or car make sure you center the heaviest items or it will feel it pulling back and forth on the freeway.

Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket for Factory Rails - 84" Long x 50" Wide
Awesome work it hard.
I have had this rack on my Ford Excursion for a full year now. I go whitewater kayaking about every weekend and they fit in the rack very nicely. I bought a 4'x8' sheet of expanded steel mesh for a floor, cut it to length, painted it with truck bed liner, and fastened it to the cross bars with sheet metal screws so I wouldn't have to worry about balancing on the cross bars while loading and tying down gear. This summer we went to from TN to CO with 3 boats stuffed full of gear on top, and it handled them with ease. Get the folding ladder to make loading and unloading a breeze!

32x48 Reese Steel Solo Cargo Carrier and Folding Ramp for 2" Hitches - 400 lbs
Had another rack that was cheaper but not wide enough for what i needed that seemed a lot better built, not impressed with build but do like the folding gate and the tie down holes in the sides, I wouldn’t go as low as a three star rating but I don’t really think it is worthy of a four star either
Very fast shipping, I like that.now about this rack, very well built and easy to put together.ramp is ok but not good enough for me,to steep, took to a welder shop and had another 2ft added, now it's 6ft long and folds up the same way,now it works great.this rack sits about 4ft from the truck so I'm putting lights on this and new stickers, the ones that are on suck, they fell off.now the receiver of the rack, can be turned to make the rack lower but to me it's to low and will drag in dips so I have it up high, its about 2ft now and can't drag that why I added to the ramp, make it work for you.now this rack does wobble some so buy a hitch stabilizer for 20 bucks that stops that problem. This is still better than dragging around a trailer and still I can park in a parking lot so it works for me

23x47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 450 lbs
The cargo carrier came exactly as billed. It was simple to put together and was perfiect for my first two dump runs.
Great website. Easy to sort info/products. Bought frame/bag. Reasonable price. VERY fast shipping! Frame seems sturdy enough to last. Bag is heavy nylon that seems will last at least a few years with light/medium loads. Put together/Installed in about 20 minutes. So far so good.

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
Hitch works well to transport Lectric trike on back of Class C motorhome. Added magnetic hauling lights plugged into trailer towing plug to corners for additional safety.
Purchased this to carry an e-trike on the front of my truck. It was the only one I could find that would accommodate the 30" width of the trikes rear wheels.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
I love this unit! I’m an avid Camper and Jeeper. My rig has big tires including the spare that requires additional clearance. In addition to hauling my gear, I had concerns about ground clearance off roading and stability. This unit exceeded my expectations on every point! I can even open the tailgate with the unit on and it still has enough clearance to fold up when not loaded. In addition to a great product, the order was confirmed and shipped same day and on my doorstep two days later. It was pretty easy to put together but having a second person to help and fit it on the first time is helpful. Great product!

Yakima MegaWarrior Extra Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 74" Long x 48" Wide
Initial quality was excellent and assembly a snap. Finding a roof basket that wouldn't look like a tiny hat on a Jeep Commander was difficult, but the MegaWarrior is perfect! Assembly and mounting took less than an hour and it looks great. Now it just needs to be outfitted with a set of off-road lights. ;-)
Very well built quality products from Yakima.

Rhino-Rack Zenith MasterFit Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft - High Gloss Black
I just ordered my 2nd cargo box from e- trailer. I really like this box and have ran it on multiple vehicles. Definitely recommend
This was a great experience from start to finish. etrailer: After placing the order, I called regarding shipping and quickly got the answer to my question. The box shipped by ground freight, and arrived almost a week before the original scheduled delivery date. The Rhino arrived perfect with protective wrap, and all the required parts. Rhino Rack: This thing is awesome. Unless you jump up into the $1000+ price point, your rooftop carrier options are limited. My two requirements were to fit my skis (181 & 183 cm) and to allow my tailgate to open fully. The Rhino delivered! Bonus that both baby strollers fit as well (Instep baby trailer and Vista Uppababy). Only a week in, but so far the Rhino box and MasterFit clamps seem solid. The ratchet/locking mechanism on the clamps is just ok, you don't have to twist too hard to over power the lock or feel like you are stripping something internally. The hinges are beefy, but don't take up a ton of storage space. It opens from both sides, and you can't remove the key unless it's locked, which is nice for those of us that don't enjoy picking up our stuff on the highway. Also, if you're like me and spent way too much time on mr-box.com, you'll be pleased to know that this thing doesn't look lame. It's pretty sleek, somewhat low profile, with a touch of Euro. It's not too wide, even on the narrow rails of the A4 Allroad there's extra bar space. I could probably squeeze an upright kayak rack, small ski pinchers, or for the ten of us in the world that own RoadShowers...the RoadShower 4 fits no problem. I definitely recommend a Rhino from etrailer.
MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Dodge Durango
Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we're doing a test fit of the MaxxTow 48" by 21" Cargo Carrier. That part number is MT70422. It has a weight capacity of 500 pounds and is designed to work with 2" hitches. The first thing we're going to do is take a few measurements here. Our ground clearance is first. We have 11" and 1/2".
Test Fit: 23x47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches on a 2015 Dodge Durango
Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango we're doing a test fit of the car pod walled cargo carrier. It's 23 by 47 with a 450 pound weight capacity and that part number is M2205. Now, the first thing we're going to do with it on our vehicle is take a few measurements. Our ground clearance here is going to be about 17 1/2 inches. That's because we've got that nice raised shank in the back, which is going to lift that even higher than the hitch. Overall to our vehicle we're adding abut 34 inches. Our closest point is going to be on our raised shank here, we've got about 5 inches there. Now, with our vehicle we do have a single passenger side exhaust, it does come just about straight out and level with that carrier, but we have about 14 1/2 inches between the two.
Does it Fit? Testing the 20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches on a 2015 Dodge Durango
Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango we are test fitting our Curt 20 x 60 Collapsing Cargo Carrier with a weight limit of 500 pounds. As you can see here, it does fit the 2 inch hitch back there. At first we are going to start with some measurements. I've got a ground clearance of about 13 3/4 and from the back of the vehicle overall, we've got about 34 inches and from the rear of the vehicle to the first point it might hit, is about 13 inches. Now as you can see down here, this is just a pin and clip to hold in the cargo carrier, so it will allow a little bit of rattle. That's pretty normal with any cargo carrier that is just a pin and clip.
Test Fit: 20 x 59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches on a 2015 Dodge Durango
Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we are test fitting our Curt 20 by 60 cargo carrier with a weight limit of 500 pounds, part number C18150. This cargo carrier is designed to fit a 2-inch hitch. Now, if we do some measurements real fast, down here is our ground clearance, from the ground to the lowest point here, we've got about 5 1/4 inches there. Our overall length added to the vehicle is about 28 1/4 inches. Down here, our closest point that might hit the vehicle is about 5 inches away. While we're down here, you can see that this is a pin and clip connected cargo carrier which will allow for a little bit of shake in the cargo carrier which is pretty normal for anything that has just a pin and clip.
Is the 23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches Compatible with the 2015 Dodge Durango?
Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango we're doing a test fit on the Stromberg Carlson 23 x 60 Cargo Carrier. This has been designed to carry up to 500 pounds. It's for use on 2" hitches. The part number on it is CC-100. As you can see the base of our carrier here it's going to have a nice, large open hole, expanded steel type floor. It allows any of the water, dirt and debris to fall down and out so it's not sitting on top of our carrier. We've also got a nice raised edge that's going to go all the way around the outside.
Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Dodge Durango
Today on the 2015 Dodge Durango, we're testing the Lets Go Aero Gear Cage, 32 by 48 cargo carrier with a weight capacity of 300 pounds, part number HCR222. Now, let's do some measurements. First, we're going to do a ground clearance. There's this little part down here we're going to measure to because it's the closest to the ground. We have it at about 12 inches. Our overall length is going to be about 41 1/2 inches.
Detail K2 20x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Dodge Durango
Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we're test fitting the Detail K2 Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier. This measures 20 inches by 60 inches. It offers a 500 pound weight capacity and they designed it for use with 2 inch hitches. Part number on it is K2HCC602. As you can see, we've got an expanded steel style floor here that allows that dirt and debris and stuff to fall through and not build up on top of our carrier. We're also going to have a nice raised edge that comes all the way around here. It's going to give us front to back, side to side support of our load.
Curt 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Dodge Durango
Today on our 2015 Dodge Durango, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Curt cargo carrier. Now, this cargo carrier is going to be 25 inches wide by 60 inches long and with its expanded metal base, it's going to have a 500-pound weight capacity. This rack also comes with a 2-inch shank to connect to our 2-inch receivers only but the hitch pin and clip that do connect it are not going to be included. If you'd like to obtain those, you can get it on our website, part number PC3. Another nice feature about this rack is it's going to have the ability to fold up against the back of the vehicle when you don't have it in use. Let's start off by getting a few measurements with it down in the platform position. Our closest distance is going to be about 14 5/8 inches.
What our customers are saying:
"We got the cargo bag and used it on the DrawTite cargo rack with no rails and took the whole load up and over the Smokey Mountains! What a fabulous product!"
