My usage of your hitch is a bit unusual, I think. I pull a two ton roller with my Ram and I've used your cushioned hitch to smooth out the process. The roller Lunette just dropped over a 2" ball and then banged and jerked on the ball neck. Check out the photos for my adaptation.. I can flip it over and use the 2" ball! Have enclosed some photos. The cushion is holding up very well and it takes a beating!! Thanks

We have a Pink Tractor (google Mom's Pink Tractor) that we pull to events, mainly in Ks, Ok, Mo, and Ne. We have around 35 events a year we take the tractor to to promote breast cancer awareness. The other day my wife and I were leaving for an event, i had let a friend borrow the hitch to see how he liked it. In less then a mile from the house my wife started complaining about the trailer jerking. That is coming from a lady that really was upset when I paid that much for a hitch. She told me to stop and buy one. (a long and expensive trip, we had to stop at a casino so she could rest her neck) I could write a review with a lot of trailer talk, but, this story tells the story.

I use this hitch when I pull my horse trailer to make the stop/start transitions as smooth as possible for the horses in the back. It works great. I also love that its a category IV hitch. Really heavy duty. My truck sits pretty high, and the amount of drop - 8" is perfect. I never worry about hitch failure travelling with my horses - they're a heavy load, and any failure would be a disaster. E Trailer provided excellent service, and their shipping to Canada was prompt and hassle free. Way to go guys, keep up the great work!

I have a 2012 GMC Sierra HD with a 12" suspension lift. I recently purchased a ball mount hitch with 8" inch drop for our 36' RV trailer and it worked great. It took 3 days for the hitch to get to me. Great service from e-trailer.

Love the height adjustment for all 3 of my trailers suuper solid, I get compliments all the time when people see it "wow that things stout!" Keeps the trailer tongue from excessive bobbing, the pins it came with are a huge improvement from the standard Bobby pin style I was used to. Over all I do not regret a dollar spent and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an initial purchase or upgrade their tow life

This hitch is amazing!!! Be prepared though it is very heavy! I love how easy it is to adjust to different heights and ball sizes with the 2 common sizes provided. The scale on the back can be helpful to let you know if you have the proper trailer weight. The more you use it the more you will like it!

Very useful for adding tie down points. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was the need to cut off the extra length and drill new holes farther up for the pins so the units fit better.

Looks to be a well built hitch there's virtually no other 12" drop hitches short of expensive adjustable ones it's just about right for my custom bumper

Arrived today. Fast shipping, and thank you for that! Seems to be a quality ball mount. Just what I needed to get the ball lower to tow my trailer. With this, now the top of the ball is at 16" where it needs to be. Custom built receiver on my old moving box van. Just need to weld on safety chain slots and paint it. Can't drop the lift gate with the receiver in (its pinned on both sides), but hey....I can tow now.

this is a great product that etrailer shipped FAST! i haul a BIG bike hauler all over the east coast and to florida and i needed a solid heavy duty ball coupler. this product is it. i have bought several items from etrailer and every time the service and product is excellent!!

Love these. This is my third one. Wouldnt pull a trailer with anything else. Trannys are expensive.

As a full-time RVer, e-shopping is very important for us. etrailer was the right place to shop. Right product, delivered on-time for a great price. You beat the local discount RV store by $25 including shipping. At the same time, I had another outfit send me a clearly inferior product to the one they displayed. This Curt towing kit has worked flawlessly. The reduction in rattling and jerking is quite noticeable (compared to my standard hitch set-up). My primary use of the Curt kit has been the towing of my teardrop camper; logging thousands of miles already with no problems, and no problems anticipated. The only thing now, a year later, is that the chrome on part of the RockerBall in contact with the hitch has worn off, but this is not surprising to me. I am quite satisfied with this product.

This was a game changer for us. The previous hitch receiver made so much noise and we felt the trailer a lot more over bumps than we do with this new hitch. Highly recommend.
