Most Popular CIPA for 2005 Dodge Ram Pickup

I was looking for towing mirrors for my 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 SLR. When I purchased my truck, it didn't come with any towing mirrors, even though it has a tow package. You would assume if a big truck has a towing package, towing mirrors would be standard. I found very expensive mirrors but I wasn't going to pay the high price if I could avoid it. I started looking into the CIPA products in 2013 but couldn't find the slip on type mirrors for my truck. I contacted CIPA directly and was informed that they didn't make a slip on mirror for my truck, nor did they know if they were going to make some. A year later I again started looking for mirrors on the internet and came across etrailer. The information on this product indicated that it would fit my 2012 Dodge Ram 2500, but no mention of the SLR package. I contacted etrailer via email and they informed me that CIPA said the mirrors wouldn't fit my truck. I personally contacted etrailer and spoke to a very helpful and patient sales person, Dana M. She looked at all of the information on this product and was very positive about the mirrors fitting my truck. So I ordered the product after Dana informed me that I could send them back and the shipping would be paid for by etrailer. With nothing to lose, the mirrors were sent to me. I opened the boxes and put them on my truck. They fit perfect! They don't vibrate, and they look like they came with my truck as a stock item. I can see around my RV and it gave me peace of mind. I just installed a set of these mirrors on a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500. My trailer is a full 8’ wide, which matches the farthest edges of my stock mirrors making it difficult to see an extended view, behind me, while towing my trailer. These mirrors were easy to install and very well built. I ordered the CIPA towing mirrors for a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 after looking at your web site and video, I was particularly interested in whether the passenger side mirror was an actual mirror and not a convex bulls eye, which it is.(actual mirror) So now I can see exactly where my right rear bumper/corner is in relation to. The mirrors came in a professional package and completely undamaged. I had previously ordered this item from a competitor but returned it as it did not fit the truck.Also the package was torn and the contents were filthy. I am very satisfied with your service/product.

I needed extended mirrors only when towing large RV behind my pickup truck. These worked as well as expected. Easy on and off. Store behind my front seat.

great product fit like a factory mirror

The mirrors fit good. The added mirror is a little small but will work. The only complaint I have is the plastic clip & nut that hold the mirror on. One went on without a problem but the second one had a problem with the threads and twisted off before it got close to tight.

Fit better then I thought they would. Nice and snug, simple to install.

Overall these are nice mirrors and fit well on my Ram 1500. I am only rating two stars because the mounting screws and threads in the mirrors are not compatible and the lead threads on the screws galled during first install. This will require me to rethread the screws and holes before using the mirrors. It appears that the non threaded end of the screw is too large and damaged the threads in the mirror. I may even need to change to a metal screw to make them work.

These mirrors are GREAT. They fit my existing mirrors housing perfect and don't affect the movement.

Mirrors work exactly as intended, greatly improving rear vision when towing our pontoon behind our 2014 Tacoma. Store nicely in the compartment under the rear seat.

This mirror worked better than the K-source I had previously tried. I put these on my 2014 Ram 1500 chrome clad mirrors. The wind on the interstate does vibrate them slightly but nothing too bad. The main thing is they stay on and the two mirror design is a plus.

Works really well on our 2019 Ram truck. Easy on and off.

Unable to tighten mirror clamps enough to eliminate mirror from shaking, preventing clear image while driving.
