SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Easy to install and just the right height for my 2013 Nissan Pro 4X that was sagging with a canopy camper.
These things SUCK for the Frontier, they are very stiff. THANK GOD I ordered thru etrailer and not Supersprings directly, ''Supersprings'' seems like a good American company to deal with UNTIL, you have an issue with their product. They will jerk you around and try to sell you 'other' products to fix the issue instead of simply honoring their website stated satisfaction guarantee. If you have a Nissan frontier BEWARE this item may not fit your truck unless its lifted. If your truck is stock it will constantly ride on these and you'll feel every bump on the road. When you explain this to Supersprings they will say something along the lines of ''Just throw some weight on the back of your truck'' Thats not helping me. Thank you Alex J at etrailer for understanding my issue and making it right. I went ahead and ordered the firestone adjustable airbags from etrailer.com I want to reiterate This is not complaint against etrailer rather against that awful company Super Springs.

SuperSprings Suspension Stabilizer and Sway Control Kit - OEM Leaf Springs Above Axle
I received the kit two days earlier than expected; which, in itself was very reasonable (7 days). I received the springs on Monday and installed them on Tuesdays. The lift is unquestionably and under load quite obvious! In the coming days I will naturally be testing it for performance, but for now I'm very pleased!!!

First of all etrailer.com has shown again they have the best customer service. There's a reason I keep going back for my truck/trailer needs. The 1500# SumoSprings I ordered (SSR-610-47) for my Frontier installed very easily. The total install took about 20 min. Having an impact gun definitely helped. Getting the U-bolt nuts off without one would be a bear. I opted for the 1500# to assist with squatting when I pull my 5K# camper. I am using an e2 WDH but its still squatting a bit too much for my taste, these should help with that. The ride without a load is stiff but not harsh. There's virtually no body roll like there was before even with new shocks. I'm looking forward to my first camping trip of the year and will update after that trip which will be about 250 miles round trip.
These Sumo springs are the real deal! Installed them on my Nissan Frontier that I tow a trailer with and instead of the rear dropping 2 1/2 inches it now only drops less than an inch. Originally tried to buy another big brand name but it said it wasn't compatible with my truck. These Summo springs are second to none. Took about 45 minutes to install. Very happy. Highly reccomend.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
2015 Frontier Crew cab Desert Runner (purchased the yellow Sumo Springs). Easiest install ever! 18mm deep socket and long breaker bar for breaking nuts loose. Removed factory bumpstop, install sumo bracket and retighten U bolts to 58 foot pounds. After installing both brackets, lifted back of truck up 4 inches to install sumo spring with blue lock tight on bracket bolt, tighten sumo spring onto bracket and lowered truck off the jack. Overall it raised the back of my truck bed 1 inch. Ride is stiffer with no bed roll in the turns. Loaded my 24 foot travel trailer with load leveler- equalizer bars and gained 3 inches (less “squat”.) Truck is level now vs nose high (without the sumo springs). Definitely an upgrade that was needed in 2015 when I first bought the truck!!!
While I’m a fan of the folks at etrailer this purchase was a disappointment. Neat concept but didn’t work out for me. First off, after installed the ride in the truck was unbearable. I had them installed for only 3 weeks and could not wait to have them taken off. Never got to tow with them as the ride was that bad. When they took them off, the bolt up through the middle broke right off. I guess that’s how tight they were between the leaf spring and where the bump stop was. Shame though, I was really looking forward to having a better towing experience.

The product was quick and easy to install (less then 10 minutes). I did a test load and hooked up my 29 foot travel trailer and immediately noticed the difference in appearance and performance.

Very pleased! There are two settings, but I prefer the heavier capacity setting and higher in the rear feeling. It has made all the difference in the world with my long wheelbase 2002 Chevrolet Astro Van. I really do not feel that it has changed my ride comfort that much, very little, if any. I always have some kind of load on the van, whether hauling cargo in the van, or towing a trailer, that my ride is still as smooth as always. But, the remarkable thing is, that now my rear end isn't sagging to the ground like it always use to be, even without a load! I'm super pleased and would recommend these springs to everyone for the reasons I've shared above.
It arrived earlier than I had expected I installed it the following day, very easy to install noticed a gain in drivability with in 50 ft on sway control. I haven’t hitched up to either trailer 6x12 enclosed and 5x10 dump but I’m sure it will be better experience. I’ll let you know. Thanks!

Works Great Really helps with towing.
Great product. Easy to install and a fair price. Put a 1500lb load of wood in my Frontier and it only dropped about 2inches. Did make the front end light thought

This did not fit the 2022 Nissan king cab. I did not see that this was called out in the documents provided on the site. I did find the etrailer hills very helpful but also, am being charged $18 as a return fee The ones which I need have brackets and are on their way. Added picture of stock bump stops. Heads up!!
Cool product, will aid with trailer towing. Install was very easy on my 2023 frontier. Just be aware the oem has a bolt underneath it, so remove the cushion/stop and use a ratchet to take off old base. New one has integrated bolt that screws right into the vehicle frame. Thanks etrailer for exceptional service as always.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
I bought them because I was going to pull a RV but with the normal 200-300 pounds of weight I carry in the bed these things made my truck ride better than when I first got it

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Installed on my 22 frontier. Took longer to Jack the vehicle up and remove the tire than the actual install of these springs. I tow a travel trailer that weights approx 3500lbs truck doesn’t sag. Ride quality is amazing while loaded. A bit on the stiffer side for everyday driving but not terrible. Noticeably less body roll in turns.
Fit as expected and performed as expected on my 2022 Nissan Frontier Pro-X.

While I haven't used them for trailering yet, I could already feel an improvement in the tightness of the back end. Feels a little more springy now. One of my long complaints about the Xterra was the soft rear end on it and this seems to shore that up nicely. Also seems to eliminate the rear end shimmy. Installation took about 20 minutes, did not use a jack or remove tires. Installed on a Pro 4x 4wd
I really like my set of sumo springs. Installation was easy and they give my Nissan nv2500 van excellent turning stability, especially when towing a trailer.

Coil SumoSprings Custom Helper Springs for Coil Spring Suspension - Front Axle
I was very excited about these for my 4x4 2015 Nissan Frontier. I am not completely displeased with them because they do make a mild difference over bumps, but they aren't worth over 100 bucks no way, the fact that I had to CUT THEM to fit due to them being too long made me feel like the company does not due their research when manufacturing them. It was so long that it lapped the beginning on it, so in order to have them installed as shown on the instructions I had to cut nearly 3 inches off... Which meant I had to comely install them, mark then uninstall, cut to fit, then install again. For an item to cost this much I expected better build quality. Bang for buck it's not worth it, it's overpriced and I wouldn't recommend them for that cost.
Unbelievably easy to install with instant positive feedback. I tow a 9,000 travel trailer using a weight distribution hitch along with added Sumo Springs rear suspension upgrade. Feels like I'm towing with a 1 ton dually. I cannot recommend these products enough!
