Most Popular Hitch Extender for 1998 Ford Taurus

The product is 5 star, packaging and shipping is a 0. I am not sure how this hitch extender ever made it to my residence due to the lack of proper packaging (see photo.) When the package arrived, I did not need to open the box, I only had to reach throught the hole and pull it out. This is not the first time I've had issues with etrailer packaging. When I ordered the extender, the screen showed I would receive it Saturday. Received it 3 days later.

I use this on my Yamaha Kodiak 700 and it works great with my cargo carrier. I needed an extender in order for the carrier to not rub against the back tires. No complaints.

I recently had a hitch installed on my car. Since the cargo carrier that I have was used previously without an adapter, I assumed that I didn't need one. Now trying to locate one was more of an effort than locating a hitch. The local auto parts stores of national brands don't keep them in stock. One store made an inquiry but didn't give me much hope. Now I can make a rode trip in confidence that the carrier will be secure as I head down the interstate.

I installed a hide away hitch on my son's Mustang (College kid, cramping his style), Wayne really helped me with this 10 inch extender. The part came the next day. Excellent part and excellent service.

Just received my 80307 Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 8" Long. My newly upsized spare tire had been preventing the use of my hitch rack. Shipping went well and expediently. I trial fit the extension with my hitch rack today, and the photos are attached. It fit well and did the trick. I drove around and heard no rattles from it at all.

This was an excellent choice as it gave the clearance needed for the bike rack and has a built in anti-wobble feature included. One thing to note, this is for racks only and it is not designed for towing anything.

I got this hitch extender to put on my camper so that I could mount my bike rack. It worked like a charm!! The bike rack and bike were super solid on the trip cross country!!
