Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the TowSmart BAJA Collection Tri-Ball Mount for two inch hitches. Has a 10,000 pound maximum gross towing weight capacity. Now, this ball mount has the built-in hitch balls that let you up your trailer to your tow vehicle. All you have to do is just simply rotate the shank in the hitch to use one of the three hitch balls. It does give you all three sizes.
Gives you the smallest 1 7/8 inch diameter. Next one up is the two inch diameter, and then the largest is the 2 5/16 inch diameter ball. Application again, this will slide into a two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. It is a heavy-duty solid steel shank. Has a nice black powder coat finish on it.
Now, it does require a hitch pin and clip to secure this two year hitch receiver. Now, the pin and clip is not included. We do sell those separately. They use a 5/8 inch diameter hitch pin hole. We do also sell hitch locks that you could use for extra security.
Now, the gross towing weight capacity is gonna depend on the hitch ball size that you use. If you use the smaller 1 7/8 inch and the amount is stamped on the ball itself, 2,000 pounds, if you use the two inch diameter ball, stamped 6,000 pounds, and if you use the larger 2 5/16 diameter, it's stamped 10,000 pounds. Overall length on this from this end to this end, is gonna be right at 12 inches, and the length of the center of the hitch pin hole, so right here to the center of the ball, so for the larger 2 5/16 inch, you're gonna see center to center's right at seven inches. And for the other two, the hitch pin hole is back here, so you can see that's gonna be right at eight inches for either the two inch or the 1 7/8 inch. But that should do it for a look at this TowSmart BAJA Collection Tri-Ball Mount for two inch hitches.

The hitch that I ordered came with a ball and pin that ordinarily one has to purchase separately. That was convenient for me since the price was better than any other option. etrailer.com has been a great source for me in the past and continues to be so.
This particular hitch took longer than normal to receive, but I assume it was coming from the other side of the planet. Apart from that, it was A great purchase.
Looks good but time will tell. Should include instructions as to what to do and remove the plastic insert in the pin hole.

Ball did not fit my trailer. I chose to not just replace the ball. Had been gifted the right sized ball literally by the Lord himself. Day B4 this one arrived. Was with items a neighbor was discarding! Talk about Him running ahead and providing even before I pray for it! He does that so often especially when Iam doing my best to obey Him in areas I struggle with. He's so amazing!

Flipped this mount upside down for the rise. Leveled out my little trailer just fine. If your bumper is too thick, this might be too short. Worked well with my ‘26 Equinox EV.
Great quality, the 1.25” hitch has a x design shaft which significantly reduces the chance of it getting stuck inside your hitch and insuring a tight fit without the wiggle and clunk that other brands and designs have. Great purchase!
