Each ball is built into the same sturdy steel shank, so you just rotate to what you need. It’s a simple way to tow different trailers without tools or extra hardware.
When you’re hauling gear that’s not exactly light, strength matters. The 2-5/16" ball is rated for up to 10,000 lbs gross towing weight and 1,000 lbs tongue weight. The 2" ball handles 7,500 lbs GTW, and the 1-7/8" carries 5,000 lbs GTW. The steel shank and solid chrome balls give you the confidence to pull heavy loads safely trip after trip.
A reliable hitch has to take hits from weather, road debris, and constant use. This one uses sturdy steel construction with a corrosion-resistant black powder coat finish that keeps it looking clean while fighting rust. The chrome-plated balls hold up against wear so you can leave it on the truck without worrying about it seizing or corroding.
It slides into any 2" x 2" trailer hitch receiver and stays put with a 5/8" hitch pin (sold separately). The fixed mount means fewer moving parts and less chance of rattle or flex when you're towing. If you want things even tighter, an anti-rattle device can lock it down solid for a smooth, quiet tow.
With an overall length of 8-3/8" from the hitch pin hole to the center of the 1-7/8" or 2" balls, and 7-1/4" to the center of the 2-5/16" ball, it offers a balanced fit that keeps your trailer lined up straight behind you. Everything stays level with zero drop or rise—just a clean connection built to haul without fuss.
