When you’re switching between different trailers, getting the height right makes all the difference. This adjustable mount gives you up to 8-1/4" drop and 8-1/2" rise, so you can dial in a level setup for each one. The 5-position channel lets you fine-tune the height quickly using the included pins and clips, keeping every trailer running level and steady down the road.
Big campers, loaded equipment trailers, or heavy boats—this mount is built for them. The welded steel design is tough enough to handle up to 10,000 lbs with the 2" ball and 14,000 lbs with the 2-5/16" ball. A 1/2" thick gusset plate braces the shank and channel so it won’t flex under weight, while the solid steel ball platform gives you a strong, stable connection every time you tow.
You can see the strength in its construction. The channel frame uses 5/16" thick laser-cut steel plates with precisely sized pin holes that keep adjustments smooth and secure. The balls are welded directly to the platform for added durability, so there’s no looseness or shifting when loaded down. At nearly 29 lbs of solid steel, it’s made to take years of towing abuse.
Towing gear lives out in the elements, so rust resistance matters. The matte black powder coat finish protects the steel from corrosion and chips, even after repeated hitching and long hauls through rain or salt. The included zinc-finished pins and clips add more protection where it counts, helping this mount stay clean and strong over time.
When you want to do more than standard towing, this mount works with several optional attachments. You can drop a clevis or shackle setup in the channel for off-road use or recovery work, add a step for easier bed access, or attach a weight distribution shank when hauling heavier loads. It keeps your setup flexible without swapping out hardware.

Fits perfectly on 21 Ford F-250 Tremor. Still plenty of clearance and low enough for any trailer coupler. Using with the WDH adapter
I really love my hitch. Just the weight of it is impressive, it is a substantial hitch and has not let me down at all. I leave it on the truck all the time even when not needed for towing just in case someone isn't paying attention, cause it is also a great rear end collision extra "bumper".
Overall really good and rugged. Easy to adjust but the retaining pins seem a little cheap. Upgrade thise and it’s a 5
This thing came professionally packaged w lots of my friends recommending bulletproof . Definitely see the reason why . Not just painted black but powder coated w a hammer tone came w grease, instructions and a quality control slip w date
Made in USA. Heavy Duty Build. I just wish the tolerances were tighter, like on the height adjustment pins, they are loose which makes a lot of thumping, They do not need to be that sloppy. I will say, this hitch is holding up well. The Ball fell off the "Fastway Flash" hitch I had before, where the ball broke out of the casting.
And, this hitch is not nearly heavy as the "Fastway Flash" hitch.
I own several adjustable 2-1/2" hitches and like this one a lot. It isn't terribly heavy for being steel and is very easy to adjust. I like the pins versus the key-operated mechanism on my aluminum adjustable hitch. Works great with my Chevy 2500 and various trailers and boats from 5000 to 14000 lbs.

after a year of using this hitch I have zero complaints. It has been solid and a great purchase for us. I wouldnt hesitate to by another one!
Nice heavy duty hitch. Ratlles a little on bumps. Looking for a kit to quiet it down.
The bulletproof hitch is a really good unit. I have used it now for over two months to pull a sixteen foot cargo trailer using the larger ball. Towed locally and from northern NY to Florida and back, so I'd say at least 5,000 miles. I like the easy to adjust height in order to tow the trailer level. It doesn't seem to cause any clunking because of movement - if that makes sense. I did clear-coat the unit to help it stay looking decent for the long-term and that seems to be working so far. The main piece stays locked in the truck receiver all the time while I remove the double-ball unit when not in use. I would buy this unit again in a heartbeat.

My Opinion Hasnt Changed, the hitch is Great! Main use now is a center console and a pontoon boat. Both boats are twenty footers. The hitch is over-kill for the load, but the variable height capability of the hitch allows for easier launches at the ramp. We use different ramps and each ramp has a different angle into the water.
Build quality is obvious on this absolute unit of a drop hitch. Solidly built and looks great, exceeding my expectations for the towing I do.
Everything showed up on time. Nice product. Good communication.

Rust starting to show and coating has worn off. Rep suggested this drop length and it is definitely too much even with my 2500. Not a product flaw a customer service flaw
