Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Bulletproof hitch two ball ball mount rated at 22,000 pounds. So folks, this amazing two ball ball mount will let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle and the shank here is gonna slide and fit into a 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inch hitch receiver tube. Now the hitch ball, you're gonna have a 2 5/16 option or a 2 inch option and that's gonna provide a nice connection point for the trailer coupler. Now it is adjustable height so you can pull these two pins out and you can move it up or down a couple of holes depending on the riser drop that you need. The ball platform, like I said, slides up or down and goes in place with those two pins.
Those retainer clips are on there. You have a total of three mounted positions, two pins per mounting position. The whole thing is made of a heavy duty steel construction and it's got a nice matte black powder coat finish that's gonna resist corrosion. You can switch balls easy by removing the pins and flipping the ball head over. It does have a nice 5/16 inch thick channel frame that's super strong and durable up here on the front channel and it has a nice half inch thick welded gusset plate to help make it strong as well here on the backside.
That's the gusset. The hitch balls are welded on for superior strength and durability as well. Everything's been heat treated steel, it's gonna withstand heavy weights. It has a nickel undercoat with the zinc top coat to also help resist corrosion and ensure strength. If you need a hitch pin or a locking hitch pin, that's all sold separately and the whole part here is SAEJ 684 certified.
You're also gonna get this tube of Bulletproof anti-friction grease. A lot of people don't do this, but you really are supposed to put a little grease on the ball. That way it can spin free in the coupler and make it just a lot easier on turns. You get a lot less noise and squeaks and that kind of stuff as well, and it helps prevent corrosion and keeps your coupler working really good as well. Now I'll throw an image up here real quick of some dimensions.
From the top of the center of the ball over to the farthest rear pin, it's 13 1/4 inches. From that same center of the ball to the closest pinhole is actually 11 3/4 quarter inches. That's not on the picture there, but I measured it. Then you got the 10 5/8 from the front of the channel to the back center of the pin hole, 9 3/4 overall in the height and 6 inches from the gusset back to the back center of the pin hole. Folks, the total length of this hole platform when it's installed is 18 1/4 inches long. Total weight of this guy is about 45 pounds and the pinhole diameters are 5/8 inch as well as these holes over here on the adjustment. Folks, it has a nice limited lifetime warranty.
