This mount is made for the kind of towing that pushes your setup to the limit. With the 2" ball rated for 12,000 lbs and the 2-5/16" ball rated for 36,000 lbs, it’s ready for big trailers, heavy cargo, and all-day hauls. The solid steel construction and welded gusset plate keep everything braced and steady under weight—no flex, no worries.

When you’re switching between different trailers, a level tow makes all the difference. This adjustable design gives you up to a 7-1/4" drop or a 6-1/4" rise so you can dial in the perfect height every time. The ball platform slides smoothly through the channel and locks in place with heat-treated steel pins and clips, letting you match trailer heights in minutes.

The channel plates are made from 5/16" thick laser-cut steel with perfectly sized pin holes that make adjustment quick and secure. A 1/2" thick welded gusset braces the shank to keep the mount strong even at full extension. It’s a setup built to handle punishment without bending or losing alignment, so your tow stays firm mile after mile.

Road salt, water, and dust can take a toll on towing gear. This mount’s matte black powder coat finish plus nickel undercoat with zinc topcoat guard against corrosion from every direction. Even the pins are treated to resist rust and wear. It stays sharp looking and dependable through wet seasons, long trips, and years of use.
Towing multiple trailers doesn’t mean swapping hardware every time. The welded dual-ball design lets you switch between coupler sizes just by flipping the platform—no tools required. It’s simple, solid, and made for people who want to get hooked up and rolling without fuss.

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we'll be taking a look at the BulletProof hitch ball mount. So this fits into your three-inch hitch receivers and this is the extreme duty version with a weight capacity of up to 36,000 pounds. So we have this on our motorhome, you can also use this with your trucks as long as you have a three-inch hitch receiver. With this, you are gonna get two balls. So it's an adjustable ball mount, which means you can put it in the top position, the bottom position, you can switch it around so you can get a rise or a drop.
Now depending on what position you have, you will have different weight capacities, as well as different measurements. So in this video, I'll guide you through that. So first off, we have two different ball mounts. So we have a two inch and then we have a 2 5/16. So depending on which one you're using, you are gonna have a different weight capacity.
The two inch will have 12,000 pounds and then the 2 5/16 will have 36,000 pounds. So if you need to tow different trailers you have a very easy adjustment process. So let's say you need to use the two-inch ball, you just adjust it by taking out these pins and these clips. This will also help you for if you need to adjust the rise or the drop. So the holes are spaced about two inches apart.
So you got your ball mount, you then take your pins off. Once those pins are off, you can then just rotate the ball mount. You have four different options. I do like how you have the option of taking that ball mount out, because if you need to switch this over to, from the drop position into the rise position, then taking out that portion makes it a little bit lighter. With this being solid steel, it is a heavy ball mount.
So anything you can do to make it easier is helpful. Let's pop this in here and pin it into place. You can see there's actually two hitch pinholes in there. So depending on your truck or your motorhome, you might wanna pick one or the other for how far you want your ball mount to stick out. So this does not include a hitch pin. You will have to get your own and make sure to get one that matches your three-inch hitch receiver. Something you can take a look at is the InfiniteRule locking pin set. So that way you can get a hitch pin that will match, plus you can lock it in place to make sure the ball mount is secure. So taking some measurements for closest point we're gonna measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to that fin here. And for the furthest hitch pin hole, that's five inches of clearance. Now the closer hitch pin hole will give you three inches of clearance. Keep that in mind, especially for motorhomes, just because that fascia might get close for the closer hole. So the highest rise is gonna be 6 1/4 inches, we measured from the top of the inside edge of the hitch receiver. The lowest drop in the drop position is going to be 7 1/4 inches. You have this really nice matte black powder coat over both the ball platform as well as the ball mount. And this not only keeps things looking sleek but it helps blend in with your hitch receiver. The pins holding them in place are corrosion-resistant. And you have this zinc top coat to not only keep it rust free while you're out and about in the elements, but also to give it strength for the whole pin. Now if you want more of a rise and drop or less of a rise and drop that this one has, you can get this exact same ball mount in those different sizes and they work the exact same way. Now you might wonder what is the right ball mount for you. So a similar ball mount to this is gonna be the Curt two-ball adjustable ball mount. You can adjust that one up and down as well. They're also pretty similar when it comes to price. The main difference between the two, between the Curt and the BulletProof, is that the BulletProof has a maximum towing capacity of 36,000 pounds. The Curt has a maximum in the 20,000 range. So for your extreme duty towing, the BulletProof one will definitely be the option for you. So you can check out our product pages if you want more information about the different ball mounts to compare and find the best one for you. But this right here was a look at the BulletProof hitches two-ball adjustable mount with a maximum 36,000 pound weight capacity right here at etrailer..

Works perfectly and customer service is top notch
Works great on my RAV4 with my 5 x14 utility trailer
Hitch mounted in the up position
So far I am extremely happy with this hitch. It is very heavy duty. My towing capacity has changed and needed to upgrade to a heavy duty hitch. I have no doubts this is going to be Bulletproof!! It is very well built and a solid shank.
I need a solution for my BMW SUV to tow my boat and trailer with two ball sizes and very different height requirements. This worked perfectly. The name Bulletproof fits well - I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and engineering.
Great hitch, and great experience with etrailer. The shipping was fast, and everything was packaged nicely. I even put the sticker on my truck window.
I have bulletproof hitches on all my vehicles. The quality is awesome and won't use anyone other than etrailer for my towing needs.
Very high-quality hitch! The shipping was FAST!
Fit truck and trailer better than expected. Pulls heavy trailer very well. That is why I bought locks to try and keep the hitch from being taken.
heavy duty that’s for sure. packaging was excellent and no chance of it getting damaged in transit. Its got some weight to it so that’s good.Powder coating is nice. Its definitely getting the job done.
Rust starting to show and coating has worn off. Rep suggested this drop length and it is definitely too much even with my 2500. Not a product flaw a customer service flaw
Not my first time dealing with Etrailer and definitely not my last. Easy ordering and on time every time. Hitch is built very well exactly what we needed to tow our skid steer around. Seems very solid compared to otehrs we looked at.
Thanks etrailer.
It is heavy buy a locking pin so you don’t have to take it off
Solid product, excellent quality.
Great quality I just wished I was offered a keyed alike set to lock everything with one key.
Awesome product. Fit and finish are nice, Should have a trailer on it in no time. BTW this thing is stout. Solid 3” shank is a heavy unit. Shipped quick and no shipping cost!
No more slop with the 3" to 2" adapter. This thing is a beast and works great. Real simple install and easy to switch between the ball sizes.
Very well built. Kind of pricey but I believe it will be worth it
The product was delivered as promised and I have had the opportunity to try it. I'm very happy with it. Some reviewers complained about noise, so I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet my connection was especially compared with my previous hitch. I am very confident that will me meet my towing needs!
