Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at the Stromberg Carlson 5th-Wheel Louvered Tailgate Hardware Kit. This kit is going to include two latches as well as the hardware, rubber bumpers, and discs for installation of both latches on your Stromberg Carlson 2000 Series 5th-Wheel Tailgate. These discs are to keep the tailgate centered and properly aligned for opening and closing. These bumpers will install on the latches here, and then the latches will do a great job of helping to keep your tailgate closed.
They do include instructions here to show you how to get everything installed. Couple of things that are not included in this kit that you might want to consider picking up are going to be a latch cable and set screw that will allow you to operate these latches. That is sold separately. You can find it here at etrailer.com using that part number that you see on the screen there. This kit is made here in the USA, so you can trust it is gonna be made to the quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products made here in the US.

The kit worked well to get pur tailgate back on the truck. It should include the plastic bushings for the hinge pins though. Not replacing these is a mistake and we ended up woth the newly rebuilt tailgate falling off on the road. This is a manufacturermissue btw not etrailer’s fault,
I received this order promptly. The price was good. It works great. That's another consumer win for me!
