GSP offers 4 types of CV axles based on your vehicle and riding habits. The OE+ model is an affordable OEM replacement with neoprene boots. The Heavy Duty (HD) axle has a stronger shaft and TPEE boots that are better than OEM axles. The Xtreem Duty (XD) is 30% stronger than OEM axles and includes a thicker shaft for riding hard and racing. The XD is often used on lifted vehicles. The Xtended axle is a specialty product for those with long travel suspensions. It includes the same quality features of the HD axle but is longer to accomodate different builds.

Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at our GSP Heavy Duty CV Axle Assembly, specifically for the front right of a 2014-2016 Honda TRX 420. Now, folks, that being said, please make sure you're double-checking our fit guide here at etrailer.com to make sure you're getting the right part the first time. I'll go ahead and open an image of the replacement graph, if you will, for the different manufacturers and their part numbers, as well. So while you're looking at that, I'll let you know this is an upgrade from your stock or OE axle. This is a heavy-duty CV axle.
It's made of a hardened 40Cr XC steel alloy shaft. It's built to resist wear and tear. And its oversized CV joints here lets you climb through terrain and crawl over obstacles with ease. The flexible, yet tough TPEE boots here are gonna resist tearing and cracking. They come preassembled and pre-packed with a high-performance moly grease.
You get the inboard double offset joint here with the 20 spline count. And on the exterior one, the out one, you get the castle nut and washers, and it's a regular ball joint style with 26 spline count. It's a 23-millimeter shaft, 19.25 inches when it's compressed. And then if it's all the way out, it goes to 20.75 inches long. You get a nice one-year warranty from the manufacturer, and it comes preassembled out of the box ready to use.
Well, folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Again front right for your Honda TRX 420. I'm Steven. Have a good one.
