The BOLT Toolbox Latch Retro Fit Kit, Codes to Ford Key # BL7022698 that you referenced does not come with a striking plate. Since all of the handles we offer are either retro-fit kits or replacement parts, none of them come with a striking plate. Lock Recommendation For Truck Tool Box
The toolbox locks we offer are designed for specific toolboxes, but I may have a lock you can use. You may be able to use a lock like the UWS Twist Latch, part # UWSTWISTLOCK. This would involve attaching both parts of the latch to your toolbox. You would also need a padlock like part # 131D to use in the latch. If you have the make and model of your toolbox let me know and I can see if we have a lock that will work better for you.
