Does BOLT Toolbox Latch Retro Fit Kit Come with Striking Plate

I am interested in this locking mechanism. I did not see in the photos if it comes with a striking plate that could be mounted to a lid of a custom box I need to make for my customers horse trailer. Does it come with a striking plate?

The BOLT Toolbox Latch Retro Fit Kit, Codes to Ford Key # BL7022698 that you referenced does not come with a striking plate. Since all of the handles we offer are either retro-fit kits or replacement parts, none of them come with a striking plate.
A latch that may work for you is the UWS Replacement Twist Latch # UWSTWISTLOCK. This lock mount entirely on the outside of the box and is lockable with a padlock. BOLT offers padlocks, like # BL7018519 for Ford keys, that can be keyed to vehicle manufacturer like the latch lock you referenced.
