Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're taking a look at this Superwinch Rope Dampener. Now, this rope dampener is going to help prevent your winch's wire rope from snapping back if it breaks during a recovery, and this weighted bag is going to absorb the kinetic energy of the broken rope and bring it to the ground to eliminate the force of the snapback. Now, the way that this works is you would open this bag up as you see that I've done here, and you would just place this lead-free weighted bag over the middle of your rope or near the hook, and these hook and loop fasteners are going to secure this bag to that wire rope. This does have an interior pocket to provide storage for your accessories, such as your shackles, your pulley blocks, or your straps, and this yellow trim is going to provide visibility along with these reflectors, making this bag easier to see in low light situations or at night. Now, let me go ahead and give you some overall measurements. This is made out of vinyl, and looking at the overall width, we are sitting right at about 19 inches across, in regards to the height, we're sitting right at 17 inches tall, and the weight of this bag is about two pounds.
