Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center Converter Upgrade

Question:

I have a Progressive Dynamics PD4500 Control Center with a 60 amp converter. The converter is not large enough for mu needs. Can I replace with a 75amp or 90 amp converter. I can run larger wires from the battery if needed. Thank you in advance for your input.

I just spoke with my rep at Progressive Dynamics. I have a solution for you but the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 60 Amp item # PD4560K18LS8 you referenced is not set up to accommodate a 75 amp or 90 amp converter. You will need to upgrade your RV Power Control Center. You will not have to run larger wires from your battery.

For a 75 Amp system you will want the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 75 Amp item # PD4575K18LS8

For a 90 Amp system you will want the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger item # PD4590K18LS8
