Hello neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the license plate holder for your Kuat Piston Pro. That's right folks, this license plate holder is gonna keep your plate in full legal view while you're using your Kuat Piston pro bike rack. Keep in mind, not every state allows you to keep your license plate covered, so that's why they came out with this. You wanna make sure you're legal in all states you're traveling through. This does work with multiple item numbers.

I'll put them up on the screen and it is a simple bolt on installation with the included hardware and the two tools needed to install it. The bracket and everything itself is a nice heavy duty black powder coated aluminum and it is super durable but also corrosion resistant. Very simple operation. You can put it down to multiple angles, depending on your specific needs. Some dimensions on this guy, I was getting 7 7/8 inches overall side to side.

I was getting 1 1/4 inches wide on that part there. These slots here where the bolts go through for the license plate holder, those we inchesre 5/8 of an inch wide and because they're old, that gives you different options as far as sliding it to line it up perfectly. I was getting center to center on the outer holes, 7 inches and 3/4 inches center to center on the inside holes.
