Features to know about

Two Counters That Match How You Actually Track Fuel

Fill-Rite Mechanical Wheel Transfer Meter lets you manually reset the 3-digit meter so you can read up to 999.9 gallons in one refuel.

The resettable counter is for the fill you're doing right now, so you can write down a single transfer amount without doing math in your head. The non-resettable counter is the meter's lifetime total, so you can keep an eye on usage trends, job totals, or inventory over time without losing your baseline.

A Mechanical Meter That Stays Useful When Conditions Are Not Perfect

Fuel transfer setups don't always live in clean environments. This nutating disc meter is designed to allow rust and small debris to move through, helping reduce the chance of a jam that can stop a fill midstream. The goal is simple: keep you fueling and keep your numbers readable.

Fast, Trackable Transfers for Smaller Equipment

Fill-Rite Transfer Meter female connections. Fill-Rite Transfer Meter female connections.

When you're fueling smaller equipment, you usually don't need high flow, but you still want a clear number you can write down and move on. With a 5-20 GPM range and 3/4" female connections, this meter is a better fit for smaller transfer systems where you're moving less fuel at a time and you want a clear record of it.

Video Transcript for Review of Fill-Rite 3 Digit Mechanical Wheel Fuel Transfer Meter - FR86XQ

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Fill-Rite Three Digit Mechanical Wheel Fuel Transfer Meter. Now this is a mechanical fuel transfer meter that's designed for those who want a simple, reliable way to track how much fuel that they're moving. And this uses a mutating disc technology, and that's known for being dependable and accurate. This one stays within plus or minus 1% accuracy.

So your fuel records are going to stay trustworthy without needing electronics or calibration hassles. Now one nice advantage of this design is that it can handle small amounts of rust or debris in the fuel. That means it's gonna be less likely to jam or get damaged compared to more sensitive meters, which is especially useful on older equipment and storage tanks. So this is built for moderate flow rates between five and 20 gallons per minute, making this a great fit for those smaller fuel tanks or equipment. Now the main display, as you can see here, is a three digit counter that's going to show up to 99.9 gallons per transfer.

So you're gonna be able to reset it easily with the manual knob, as you can see right here, I'm just flipping that around there to reset it. So that's gonna be very easy to reset when you're done using this. And then there's also a one, two, three, four, five digit counter here. Six altogether looks like. One, two, three, four, five, six if you're counting the 10th counter as as you would have on the odometer there.

But I just wanna point out that this is going to track the total lifetime fuel flow. That's gonna be handy for long term usage tracking. But yours might have some mileage on it. It might not all be zeroed out. As you can see, the one that's on the far right here, that's got a little moving to it.

It's on four, it looks like. I'm making a big deal about that just because Fill-Rite does test these in the factory before they ship these out. So you might not have a completely zeroed out lifetime fuel flow counter, a non-resettable counter. So just be aware of that yours was not used, it was just tested if you do have some mileage on that non-resettable counter. This body is made from cast aluminum. So this is tough, it's corrosion resistant, it's designed to last. This is gonna work with a wide range of common fuels and solvents, including diesel, gasoline, kerosene, mineral spirits, heptane and hexane, giving it a lot of flexibility. In terms of setup, this is going to have three quarter inch female inlet and outlet connections. You're just going to remove these caps here. And then this is gonna handle up to 50 PSI operating pressure. And it has a pretty compact footprint. Let me actually retrieve my ruler here, give you some measurements. So I'm gonna give you the width here at the widest point, not including the caps that are going to be removed. So looking at that width, about six, that's six and a half inches wide. The overall height, pretty close to, let's say, about five and seven eights inches tall, almost six inches tall. And then the overall depth, let's say right at about four and three quarters inches deep, it looks like. So this is going to be easy to fit into most fuel transfer systems. But if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this meter or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out 'cause we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
