Today, we're taking a look at a replacement L bracket for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems. Now, this fits Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems and functions as part of the sway control bracket for your system.What this does is it mounts to the brackets on the trailer frame and provides the anchor point, or the resting point, for your arm on your weight distribution system. It does have a bare steel area right here that functions as a friction surface for sway control.It's a direct replacement from the manufacturer. It's made from a durable steel construction, and it has a really nice black powder coated finish on it to help resist rust and corrosion. With this part number, you get one bracket.That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement L bracket for Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Systems.

I needed just one of the Equalizer load leveler parts for my trailer hitch. etrailer had the individual part in stock so I did not have to pay about four times as much for a package of replacement parts. I expect the parts I received should perform well. I have the six inch version of these parts in use on another trailer and they work fine.
All the parts received were correct except for two each “Inner Link Plate for Equal-i-zer Sway Control Bracket - 8" Trailer Frames
Item # EQ90-02-5208.”
What was sent to me is the six inch frame version (about 8.25 inches long) which is generally not sold separately by the manufacturer or etrailer. The labels affixed to the plates showed the correct part number for the eight inch frame version (about 10.25 inches long) but I was actually sent the the six inch version. The plates were mislabeled as eight inch versions.
This mistake is delaying a major trip for us by at least several days. I called and spoke to someone named Shaunee (not sure of correct spelling) to assist in resolving the problem. I advised her of the mislabeling issue and to advise the support team to send me the correct eight inch frame parts. I have been assured I will receive the correct parts, expedited processing and shipping. We shall see…
Original parts wore down so needed replacements. Purchased these plus the Sway Bracket Jacket's and now no more issues with the bracket wearing down where the equalizer bar sets on it.
Ordered an L-bracket replacement and L-pins with clips. Product was as described and fit the current system exactly. Commodity price was below same product offered by the company that manufactures the hitch. The order was immediately processed and shipped out in a manner allowing the most economical price without undue delay. Thank you.
Great product. My old l brackets were worn out. I installed these and my trailer, while being pulled, isn't making noise anymore. These brackets are as study as the originals. Highly recommend.
I plan to use my Equal-i-zer sway control hitch for my Airstream and ATC trailers so needed larger brackets for the ATC which has 7x2 frame rails.

Good quality and replacement. I suspected the holes may not line up exactly since different than OEM. I was right. Off by about an inch. I'll probably buy another to equal out.

Ecellent product, holds up to all the elements and shows little to no wear after months of use. I am thouroghly pleased and would highly recommend.
These parts really wear out with use. But it's good to know where to get more when necessary.
