Video Transcript for 1383 Incandescent Light Bulb Feature Review

Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this 1383 12-volt standard incandescent bulb. Has the single contact bayonet base, soft white color, and a quantity of one. Now this is a standard incandescent 1383 bulb that will replace one burnt-out bulb. This is a 12-volt bulb that'll fit many applications such as under cabinets or recess lighting in your RV.

You can see it is a frosted bulb, provides a nice soft white directional light. And it does include one bulb. At the end of this video, I'm going to hook this up to some 12-volt power just to show you how bright it is. A few specs on it, the lumens is 293. The bulb type is 1383, also goes by R12.

The bulb size at the widest point, the diameter is one and a half inches. The base type is a single contact bayonet base and the power draw on this is 1.5 amps at 12 volts.So what we're going to do is I'm going to go ahead and take our power. And if we hold it to the base and I go ahead and take our ground and we'll touch the side. See if I can show you the direction on this. There we go.

Show you how bright the light is. I'm going to turn off the overhead lights. With the lights off, you can see when I touch that in a very bright directional light. It has a nice soft white color. I'll go ahead and turn back on our lights.
