Hello neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our weight distribution adapter for the BulletProof Hitches Adjustable Channel Ball Mount. So folks, with this shank, it's gonna allow you to add a weight distribution system that's sold separately to your BulletProof Hitches Adjustable Ball Mount. Now, the install adapter shank will get installed in the channel of the adjustable ball mount and then secure with the included pin and clips, much like the photo here. Now, if you're gonna attach a weight distribution head assembly to the adapter, you're gonna use the four pins here, that's gonna make sure that it's holding all the weight it needs to and everything. And it has a capacity rating of 6,500 pounds of the BH, our BPH-2 medium-duty hitches, and 22,000 pounds of trailer weight for the BPH Bulletproof Hitch, two-inch heavy and extreme-duty hitches.

There are six adjustment holes for attaching the weight distribution system. You simply slide up or down the head for adjusting it to the right rise or drop that you need. Now the shank width itself is two inches wide. It's about 7 3/4 inches tall overall. And you have incremental adjustments of about 1 1/4 inches.

And these holes, the adjustment holes, are about 3/4 inches in diameter. Now the center from, the distance from the center of the nine hole to the center of the adjustment hole, so here to here, whichever one you pick, it's about 4 1/4 inches, center to center.
