Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our Sylvania H13 SL LED Fog and Power Sports Bulb. Now as you can see, you're gonna get quantity two. These do come with some cable ties and some replacement O-rings if and when you need them in the future or during installation. Now these are very high efficient 10/13 watt LED bulbs, so they're mainly for fog lights and power sport headlights. They are a 6,000 kelvin cool white light output color, and as you can see, they are made up of a nice aluminum body.
Now I'm trying my best not to touch these. The manufacturer recommends with all lights, whether it's LED or incandescent, you try not to touch as much as possible, so I recommend wearing some gloves maybe when you're installing these as well. But this aluminum body is gonna help keep it cool. It actually has a built-in 10,000 RPM fan and you can kind of see it there on the bottom. When this is installed and everything, that fan will actually turn, it's gonna drive heat away, provide a maximum longevity of the light assembly itself.
And the manufacturer does recommend you change both sides even if only one side's burnt out. That's gonna give you consistent light color. It's gonna make sure that they're both lasting pretty much the same time and giving you that same output and range. So meaning, this one could be slightly brighter, different angle than your stock one or whatever one you have in there. So you want 'em to match, that way you're not getting two different looks when you're driving and everything.
And these should be a direct replacement, easy to install. There's no polarity issues or anything like that. One thing you do need to watch out for is behind this heat sink and all around this, you need about one inch of clearance beyond and one inch of clearance beyond that bolt length to make sure that you have space for airflow and those kind of things. And then there's a better look at that connection. Again, it's what we consider an H13 style bulb.
This is a Sylvania H13 SL LED. I'm Steven with etrailer. Thanks for watching and have a good one.
