Now this part is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1999 to 2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500 trucks with either the 6 1/2-foot bed or the eight-foot bed. Now this kit here is a complete installation kit.
It'll allow you to install a fifth wheel to your truck bed. The kit will include everything shown here on the table. It includes these custom fit mounting brackets here on the side, base rails, even includes the hardware to install everything. Comes with a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how everything goes together. And even comes with a bracket for your electrical connection.
Now the side brackets, they are custom fit brackets and I want to zoom in on those to show you here. These are designed to mount beneath your truck bed. They provide the attachment points for your fifth wheel rails to attach to. And these mounting brackets are a black powder coat finish to resist corrosion. And as we mentioned, they'll provide a custom fit because they're gonna mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame.
You can see the holes in these mounting brackets will line up with the holes in your frame, so this will minimize the amount of drilling that's required which will cut the installation time in half when you compare it to the universal bracket kits that are out there. Now the base rails which are these right here, these will sit in your truck bed, allow installation of your fifth wheel trailer hitch. The rails will be visible in your truck bed. So if you notice these rails have a dark gray finish to 'em to match the color of your Curt fifth wheel hitch. And then these rails are industry standard rails, which means they're compatible with the B&W, Curt, Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky above-bed fifth Wheel Trailer hitches.
