Exactly what I was looking gir

Great hitch, easy to mount, assembly instructions very clear

by:

Quick delivery, arrived at my home within four days of ordering. Assembly was pretty straight forward, a little awkward at times putting on the funnel plates by myself but worked it out. I have not towed with it at this point however I do expect to feel more secure than the similar but aluminum version using the goose ball as connection. My 5th Wheel is 10K with a pin weight of about 2K so I am confident that I have over purchased to have the extra piece of mind. I chose this mostly because of the connection type due to my dry camping habits and very unlevel choices to park. This allows for easier view and more forgiving in hooking up from different angles and unlevel situations. So far so good.

Was easy to install. Pulls my trailer great. Easy to unhook. Best hitch system I have had.

2023 Ford F-350 Cab and Chassis

Very easy to install, decent weight for one person to carry and an absolute "most" for hitching on uneven terrain and/or if you are by yourself. You get the benefits of a full articulating ball thus the trailer will do its motions with some freedom (yaw and roll). Lastly, and perhaps the most importantly, a great ratio of turn with a short bed without requiring an sliding hitch.

Some of the drawbacks are: noticeable chucking but once you get up to speed it gets better. A little bit of a pain to put chains (I live in TX and chains are required for gooseneck style) - here PullRite sort of leaves you with no instructions on how or where to install it, rota-flex hitches will required to install a locking device, and there are not padlocks for the ball. One recommendation is to have the wrenches for removing the ball from the 5th wheel hitch if you get stranded, most wreckers do not have a way to attach a ball looking down - may also happen at the dealership.

  • Is the PullRite OEX or B&W Companion Better for a 2025 Ford F-350 Super Duty Puck System?
Hey Ben, thanks for reaching out! The PullRite OEX SuperLite # PUL89ZR is what I recommend over the B&W Companion # BWRVK3305. The Companion has been a staple in the towing industry for a long time, but the OEX has a few key advantages that make it easier to tow with. The first thing is that the OEX weighs in at about half the weight of the Companion so moving it in and out of your truck is MUCH easier. The second thing is the inverted gooseneck hitch ball connection. This looks a little...

  • Height Settings For The PullRite OEX SuperLite 5th Wheel Hitch
Hey Todd, The 16-3/4" to 19-1/4" height listed for the PullRite OEX SuperLite 5th-Wheel Hitch # PUL89ZR is also factoring in the height added from the king pin adapter so this measurement essentially would be the same as saying from the bed up to the bottom plate of the pin box. I've attached a short video below where Ed will walk you through the installation process and go over how to set your hitch height.

  • 2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty 5th Wheel Hitch Recommendation
Hey Marcus! I recommend using the PullRite OEX SuperLite 5th-Wheel Hitch # PUL89ZR for your 2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty for a few reasons; it's way easier to hook up with as opposed to the standard 5th wheel king pin style, and this hitch only weighs in at 85 lbs which is pretty unheard of for something with a 25K weight capacity. The whole system looks a bit different than your average hitch system, but it will make towing your 5th wheel a breeze to setup. Check out the linked installation...

  • What's the Difference Between PullRite OEX SuperLite Hitches that Fit the Ford Puck System?
Hey Tom, congrats on your new truck! The PullRite OEX SuperLite 5th-Wheel Hitch for Ford Super Duty Prep Package item # PUL89ZR is going to be significantly lighter and easier to hook up. It weighs only 85 lbs and has a different attachment method. The included removable bracket will bolt directly to your 5th wheel trailer's kingpin. It has what looks like an upside down hitch ball that can be easily guided into the item # PUL89ZR funnel opening. The PullRite OEX Super 5th-Wheel Hitch...

  • Weight of the Base for the PullRite OEX Super for a 2025 Ford F-350 Super Duty with OEM Puck System
Hey Larry, The PullRite OEX Super 5th-Wheel Hitch # PUL79ZR base weighs in at 101 lbs so you're dropping the overall weight by 42 lbs by removing the top part. If you want something lighter we have the PullRite OEX SuperLite # PUL89ZR which has a slightly different design, but the base only weighs in at 85 lbs and the top stays installed on your pin box so it's a little easier to use. I'm attaching some videos of these hitches for you to check them out!

  • Does Pullrite OEX SuperLite work with Rotaflex Cushioned Pin Boxes
Hey Gregory, yes the Pullrite OEX SuperLite part # PUL89ZR that you referenced does work with the Rotaflex cushioned pin boxes with the lock in part number 4446 which we do not carry at this time.

  • Gooseneck Hitch For A 2022 Ram 2500
Hey Steve, We do offer the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # DT89MR (9485), it's just on extended back order right now from the manufacturer so it's harder to find on the site. We do offer the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1320 instead, which is a fit and would allow you to gooseneck tow and 5th wheel tow using B&W's Companion # BWRVK3500.
