Best Slide-Out Tray Options for Camper Van Storage 32" Deep x 48" Wide

Updated 05/14/2025 | Published 05/12/2025

Question:

Hello, I need some help in finding a pull-out tray for an RV. Im looking for a pull-out tray that is 32 long deep and 48 wide. The one I like is the MORyde brand, but it looks like they only go down to 36 L. Any help I can get would be great. Using it in my camper van build for the rear storage area. Thank You Joe M :

Thanks for reaching out Joe. I took a look at what we have available, and it looks like the closest size to what you're looking for is the MORryde Slide Out Tray, part # MR65FR, which measures 36" deep by 48" wide. It’s a bit deeper than the 32" you’re aiming for, but it’s the closest match in a pre-made tray.

That said, I have a couple of other options that might work depending on your setup. One is the MORryde Hidden RV Slide-Out Storage Tray, part # MR96RR. It measures 22" x 32" and mounts into the top recess of your cargo area (rather than the floor). It’s a smaller size, but could still be a great fit depending on how you're laying out your storage.

The other option is a bit more of a DIY approach. The Kwikee Rail Kit for RV Cargo Trays, part # LC370793, provides the sliding rails, and then you’d supply your own plywood platform cut to your exact needs. I know that’s not exactly what you had in mind, but honestly, I really like this route especially since your space isn’t super deep. It gives you full flexibility to build something that fits perfectly.

Let me know what you think about these options. I am happy to keep looking for options for you.

Hi Heather. Thank you for all your research into my issue for me. I ended up going to a local cabinet maker and got what I needed for my van-camper build that I am doing.

@Jm Hey Joe, you're welcome anytime. Smart move, I didn't even realize a cabinet maker could do something like that. I would love to see some photos of your van when you're done!
