Hello Ernest, good question. So the Roadmaster Hitch Spare Tire Mount # RM-195225 weighs about 75 lbs by itself. I looked over the 2025 CRV owners manual and I didn't see that it mentioned a specific tongue weight capacity, but it does say the maximum tongue weight should be about 10% of the maximum trailer weight. Meaning you really would be limited to carrying 100 lbs on your hitch. So you would be cutting it really close depending how much your tire and weel weigh. Most 19" would be like 25-30 lbs. Your tire would have to weigh less than 25 lbs for it to realistically work safely, and you would not be able to use the tire mount to tow anything which is its intended purpose.

Have you weighed your tire? Were you wanting to tow a trailer? or just use the mount to hold the tire?

Thank you for response. I purchased the RM -195125 instead which weighs 44Ibs. The tire and wheel have both a combined wight of 58Ibs. The maximal torque of the Honda CRV is 270Ibs not 470 Ibs as earlier stated. I will like to use the spare tire mount for occasional use when king of town. trips for 2 hrs or more. May use it for a trailer but not an immediate need.
