Best Way To Carry 50 lb E-Bikes In Bed Of 2022 Toyota Tacoma?

Question:

I have a short bed 2022 Tacoma and we are looking for a way to carry our 50 lb e-bikes in the bed while pulling our pop up trailer. Not sure I would like a front hitch...? We know we need to pull the front wheels to close tailgate for camper to connect. Thoughts?

Hey Brad, thanks for reaching out. A front hitch is a potential option here, but if you want to avoid that, doing a simple fork-mount rack in the bed of the truck will be your best bet. For that I recommend the Saris Traps Bike Rack # SATRK34-BLK3. This mounts directly to the bed, so it will be compatible with 50 lb e-bikes. It will work with a standard 9mm skewer, so please confirm this will work with your bikes.
