Will The Konig Tire Chains # TH01594267 Fit A 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro
Question:
Hello, I’m looking for a quality tire chain for our 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro with 265/70R17 tires and factory rims to maybe use a few times per year on road. I came across Part Number: TH01594267, however, I saw mixed signals about the fitment. The product page says it is not for a 2023 4Runner, however, some of the QandA’s said it was. Can you confirm if this product is recommended for a 2023 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro with 265/70R17 tires? Or is there another product you would recommend instead? Thanks! Matt S.

Hey Matt,
I'd be happy to confirm that with you. The Konig Tire Chains # TH01594267 is compatible with your 265/70R17 tire size and is class s compatible for tighter clearance wheel wells so it would be a fit for your 4Runner. Searching through the fitguide by vehicle isn't the best for tire chains since there's so many tire sizes that we can't or haven't accounted for so I always just go directly to the tire chain page (linked below) and enter in the tire size that way.
The owner's manual for your 2023 4Runner states to only install tire chains on the rear tires only and to not install tire chains on the front tires. They also state to check the the chains after driving a 1/4 - 1/2 mile to ensure they're properly tensioned still. I HIGHLY recommend practicing installing the chains before you actually need them so that you work all the kinks out and don't have to struggle when the pressure is actually on.
P.S. I really like the red you have on your 4Runner. It stands out a lot better than the boring maroon Toyota used on a ton of other 4Runners.
