It appears that this Pod DOES NOT include the swing away receiver mount. Do you offer it separately? part 10188?

No, the Rola swing away cargo carrier has been discontinued for a bunch of years now, and there are none of the receiver portion to go with the replacement pod # 10188. Best I can offer is a new swing away carrier, part # Y62VR.

Kyle - That’s most unfortunate that ROLA stopped making their racks. After just coming into the market for a storage swing-a-way type carrier, I was shocked at the prices. But (Right now…), I’m looking at the Replacement Pod and a swing-a-way rack elsewhere for about $xxx to make a unit for under $xxx, which is far more reasonable. Thanks for responding to my question.

How strong are the hinges...was looking at the Stowaway box...how do they compare ?

@JimG The hinges are very strong for the Yakima Exo # Y62VR. As for the Stowaway, since we don't offer it I'm honestly not familiar with it or what type of feedback people have offered on it so I really can't give you a good comparison. I can really only tell you about the Yakima system, which is very high-quality, as is the norm for Yakima products.
