Wiring Kit for Adding 4-Way/7-Way Socket on 2006 Chevy Express with Wiring at Back of Van

Question:
Hello, I have a 2006 Chevy Express 3500. I am interested in adding a product like Part Number: HM40975. However, instead of an existing 7-Pole connector, my van just has the 7 wires tucked into the rear frame that were cut and wrapped in e-tape. I took a photo. My question is, what additional product would I need to purchase to connect the wires to the Socket/Mounting Bracket? I assume theres some sort of connector where I can attach the wires, but not sure which one would be best. Thanks

Thanks for reaching out and providing a photo, Christian!
Instead of getting the plain Hopkins Connector # HM40975 what you need is the Hopkins Kit # HM40975-11998 which not only has the exact same 4-Way/7-Way connector system, but it also has the USCAR connector and wires that you'll strip and connect to the wires on your 2006 Chevy Express. Just be sure to connect the wires by function as opposed to color.
Attache is an installation video of this kit on a 2008 pickup so you can get an idea of how to do the install.
