Ground Clearance With Curt Hitch Installed on 2021 Volkswagen Golf TSI

Question:
Hi, I’m considering a Curt tow hitch for my 2021 VW Golf tsi, not a gti. It looks like this is the only model that will fit. My question: will this hitch lower the ground clearance? If so by how much? Rick

Hi Rick; the bottom of the Curt # C11412 will be approximately 7" off the ground once installed on your 2021 Volkswagen Golf TSI. Although I don't know your current ground clearance to tell you what the difference would be, you should be able to compare that to your vehicle to find out how much it will be reduced.
