Can 2024 Lexus RX 350H Have Hitch Installed to Carry Bike Rack
Question:
Hello, I would like to install a hitch on my 2024 Lexus RX 350h. My Lexus RX does not have a towing package. The manual for my RX says that for vehicles without the towing package, Lexus does not recommend towing a trailer with your vehicle. Lexus also does not recommend the installation of a tow hitch or the use of a tow hitch carrier for a wheel- chair, scooter, bicycle, etc. Your vehicle is not designed for trailer towing or for the use of tow hitch mounted carriers.” I only want to use the hitch for a bike rack, not towing. Can I still install a hitch for a bike rack only?

Hey Frank, so we do have to recommend you stick with what Lexus recommends for your 2024 Lexus RX 350h in regards to installing a hitch like the Curt part # C29VV that is a fit for it but there are several people who have used this hitch to carry a bike rack like the Kuat Piston Pro part # KU76ZR without any issues.
