Question:
We have a MaxxFan Deluxe 4 speed #00-08951k in our trailers bathroom It’s not working right. Push the button to open it and it rises a little bit then closes. I’d like to buy the entire new fan again and just replace the fan and leave the part that is in the roof, so not to mess with the roofing. I can’t find the exact same model number fan. Will one of the new model numbers fan fit in the opening of my old fan? Thank you

We do not carry an exact replacement unit for the MaxxAir Deluxe 8951K. We have the Smoke # MA00-07500K or White # MA00-07000K which would be the closest replacement. These fans use the same lift and fan motors but the control panels and circuit boards are going to be different so you would not be able to swap all the parts. Here are the replacement parts for your fan if you want to try changing out certain components. Also be sure to first check the power going to the fan as if the voltage is spiking or dropping it may be a wiring issue which is causing your issue.
Lift Motor # MA10-20270
Fan Motor # MA10-20968
Operator Mechanism # MA10-20281K-1AF
Circuit Board # MA10A04751KS

Hello, thank you for the info regarding the Deluxe model 8951K. I am in need of a board for my unit and just wanted to verify the part number you linked above. MAXXFAN'S part number is 10-04751k according to the parts breakdown. The number on my current board is 10A04751KZ . I can't cross the number on the board anywhere and did not know if the "Z" had any significance. From what I gathered, I either need the MA39FR or 10C04751KS . Any clarification welcome.
