Is this hitch completely hidden on the 2024 Crosstrek Wilderness Edition?

With the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7365 installed on your 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness the only portion of the receiver you will see is the removable 2" receiver opening. I have included an image of the receiver installed on a Crosstrek in our shop where you can see the cross tube and mounting flanges cannot be seen.

I always recommend having a 4-Way # C56040 installed when you install a receiver. This will allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 or connect to the lights on a small trailer you might tow.

Thanks Bud, But this is not a Wilderness. The Wilderness has more ground clearance and the rear bumper is shortened in height. Can you please post a picture with the all new redesigned Wilderness edition? Thank you.

@Jamie Unfortunately, we have not had a Wilderness edition in our shop to install this on yet for those images. We know if fits as we have had it confirmed by EcoHitch. Do understand the receiver crosstube fits behind the muffler position and you can see in the installation videos we have the mounting flanges are above the exhaust tubes.

@BudM Thank you. I'm sure if there is any exposure it will be minimal. On other videos eTrailer notes that the receivers on the Wilderness will sit lower and more exposed than other models, which is what made me ask. That said, I was thinking the same, if it sits above the exhaust, it should be fine. Thanks again!
